When we were new Christians in the Lord, we joined a Pentecostal Church in Owensboro, Ky (the city I was born in (1945). The year was 1972 when we ventured into a revival going on. We had just come out of the world of SIN; Deborah Lila and myself had been living in Montana (like native Americans/early mountain people. We knew virtually nothing about Pentecostalism (speaking in tongues, divine healings, shoutings & dancing in the Spirit – all new to us. But that small church was “on fire” for God. I felt for the first time the extreme presence of the Holy Spirit – it felt like a wave of fiery heat hit my body as we were praising the Lord. Many saints felt that same “Spirit Wave” as well.
My Point
My point in recalling this time in a Church (we spent 5 full years in it & learned much in the Word; we fasted a lot & went to many revivals. We also were appointed as Mexico missionaries, for the Church had an orphanage outside Mexico City where we eventually were posted as overseers (1976-77) is to say that the word “revival” was used over and over in sermons & in casual conversations. WE all wanted to see God MOVE! & the Church way was via “revival”. When the “saints” became lukewarm & stagnated, the cure was to call in an evangelist & hold a revival – some for a week and the longest for our church was 6 weeks – every night for 6 weeks! Yep, talk about growing tired, we all did. Some meetings lasted up till midnight & more. I was working in (hard) construction, so I was already worn out when meetings started. But we persisted. I missed only one night – I slipped out & lay down in our car. Deborah stayed the whole time.
Instead of feeling “revived”, I felt half dead!
But my article is not just about me, but about the word “revive” Anathallō / ἀναθάλλω: means to flourish anew (ana, again, anew, thallō, to flourish or blossom), hence, to revive, is used metaphorically in Phil 4:10:
“I rejoice in the Lord greatly that now at length you have REVIVED your concern for me…” RSV;
“But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has FLOURISHED again…” NKJV
The KJV uses “flourished” as well. In the Sept./LXX, Ps. 28:7 the Gk. word is “EXULTS”, RSV; Ezek. 17:24 the Heb. word FLOURISH is used – NKJV; the RSV uses the same Heb. word; the word “revive” can be found in Neh. 4:2; Ps. 85:6; 138:7; Isa. 57:15; Hos. 6:2; 14:7; Hab. 3:2;
The word “revived” can be found in Gen. 45:27; Jud. 15:19; 1 Kgs. 17:22; 2 Kgs. 13:21 – both revive & revived are Heb. words, châyâh, meaning to live (lit. or fig.) keep alive, quicken, recover, repair, be whole:
The Gk. word (found only in Rom. 7:9 & 14:9 (for “revived”) is amazaō/ἀναζάω means to live again (ana, & zaō, to live), to regain life, is used of moral REVIVAL (as in Lk. 15:24: “For this my son was dead, & is alive again…” KJV/RSV/NKJV et al.
Sin is spoken of in Rom. 7:9: “… when the commandment came, sin REVIVED & I died.” – RSV/NKJV et al. Here sin is personified, by way of contrast to the man himself. Some manuscripts have it in Rom. 14:9, for zaō, as in the RSV, which italicises “again”.
Reviving
Ezra 9:8,9 we find the Heb. word michyâh, meaning preservation of life, quickening, recover selves.
Church Revivals
In the context of CR, the definition “recover selves” is the meaning we all were familiar with. When our faith in God became low & slow, we cried out to be REVIVED. But sadly, this is not always the case. I’ve seen many, TOO MANY, lose out with God because they revived sin!
Struggling with Sin
In Romans 7 Paul deals with this very issue (7:8,9):
“What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! Indeed, I would not have it known what sin was except through the law,” vs.7, NIV. He goes on to explain that sin produces every kind of covetous desire. The NKJV has “evil desire”.
My target text is vs.9: “I was alive once without the law, but when the commandment came, sin REVIVED (Gk. anazaō = lit., ‘lived again’ i.e. it sprang into activity, manifesting the evil inherent in it!) & I died.”
Just what was the apostle talking about here? I’ve read many accounts put forth by Bible scholars, theologians et al. on Rom. 7:9, “I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, & I died.” One scholar put it as such: “I was alive without the law once,” meaning for the seed of Abraham was alive without law once, before the law was given, & being not obnoxious to death for that to which the law had not threatened death; “but when the commandment came,” forbidding it under that penalty, “sin revived, & I died”; i.e. it got strength to draw me to sin, & to condemn me to death. He goes on to say that sin is, in Scripture, represented as an ENEMY that seeks our RUIN; & takes all occasions to effect it. True enough! It is here said to WAR AGAINST the mind (vs.23).
If one reads closely vs.23, one will see there is an allusion of a besieged city, at last taken by storm, & the city dwellers are carried away into captivity (Gk., aichmalōtizō, a verb; see other verbs, aichmalōteuō & zōgreō. More on captive/captivity in part 2).
Sin, our ENEMY!, lays continual siege to our soul – repeating incessantly its hostile attacks; harassing, battering, & storming… wearing the Christian down into extreme misery, so-much-so that one can lose hope & capitulate. Ah! just what the enemy wants!!!
So, Paul says sin can be REVIVED & in doing so, can take captive the believer. In fact, whole Church organizations & denominations can be attacked & taken into captivity. Paul warns about this in his epistles. Members can be taken captive one-by-one till the whole church or organization/denomination is in captivity. Three things come to mind: money lust, i.e. the minister gets his/her eyes on the world, lusting for $$. We call these churches “Prosperity” churches; worldly music & stage shows etc. Rock & rap music has become more idolized & more commercialized, in turn, drug/alcohol illegal sexing has also come along; LGBTQ+. Whole organizations/denominations have been taken captive by these sex-perverts.
More WAR!
Peter writes: “Beloved, I beg you as sojourners & pilgrims, ABSTAIN from fleshly lusts which WAR against the soul,” -1 Pet. 2:11. The author of Hebrews writes: “… since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, & the SIN which so easily ensnares us…” – Heb. 12:1. Hebrews 6:12, in the NKJV, we find the author writing about, “do not become SLUGGISH…” When Churchgoers/Churches themselves, get bogged down (which means, sluggish in duties) with the cares of this world, REVIVAL is needed! Sluggish can also mean, lazy. Yep! Stop thanking/praising/serving the Lord. This state invites the enemies into our camp. The author goes on to write: “For you have need of ENDURANCE, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise,” -Heb. 10:36. Endurance! The same thing Paul told Timothy: “You must ENDURE hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ,” 2 Tim. 2:3. James 1:14-16 writes about being tempted, drawn away, then giving birth to SIN, which when it is full-grown, brings forth DEATH!
“Sin” in Heb. 12:4 represents “SIN” as an armed & flagrant adversary. When, therefore, it finds a law which threatens death to the violator of it, it takes occasion more earnestly to tempt & allure to the violation of it, that so it may more effectually subject us to DEATH & COMDEMNATION on that account; “for the sting of death is sin, & the strength of sin is the law, condemning us to DEATH for transgressing it.” One could write a book on this subject alone. Paul deals with sin/death strongly in chapter 7 of Romans. This cpt. is hard to understand (for me at least). It is pointed out that Paul was unmistakably speaking from his own personal experience (Rom. 7:9-11 represent a further explication of vs.8). In short, the Lord wants men, not sin, revived.
“I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin REVIVED & I died” (vs.9). The things which the law forbids they do, apparently with an untroubled conscience. “Sin” is perfectly “natural” to the sinner. They regard the law as irrelevant. They govern their lives without reference to its standards. Think about when we were sinners (before Christ came into our lives). We did what felt good no matter the result. We lived in a state of indifference to things the Bible calls SIN. Our immoral life needed to be changed. I know some live worse than others but until Christ comes into one’s heart, we had no reason to live according to the law – we were “lawless”. Our minds & hearts were absent of a sense of the actuality of a holy God. When He comes into our hearts, our mind is awakened to our sin life; we were actually dead while we lived!
As Paul says, “sin slew me” (vs.11). He went on to say that “the law is holy, & the commandment holy, & just, & good” (vs.12). When Christ came into Paul’s life, he became aware of his true position as a SLAVE of SIN destined for eternal death (read Rom. 5:12-14 – the “death” itself not being regarded as a consequence of the law, but only of sin). The commandment… promised life to anyone who might obey it. Because sin, possessing him, had prevented him from obeying God’s commandments, had led him into disobedience, the same commandment had proved to be DEATH to him.
Paul points out that “death reigned from Adam to Moses” (5:14), meaning Moses gave the “law”. Men were still held responsible for their sins, but the “law” showed men their sin.
Men Love Sin!
Yep! So true!
Ancient & contemporary men infer or outright declare that the law must be wrong because it is unnatural. Sin is natural to the natural man, i.e. the man/woman of sin. Restraints which CRAMP the free expression of our “sin nature” need to be ABOLISHED! At least this is their twisted thinking; to enforce requirements to which men do not respond is manifestly FOOLISH & MISGUIDED! Unrestrained sin is TYRANNY! It is like what we see in America right now – violent illegals doing what they please – while the democratic folks fight against those who want to STOP them, deport them. The “Left” actually wants these criminals to remain in the country – even protect & support them. This is LUNACY! The same spirit resides within these woke/PC churches – protect, praise, & promote sex-perverts et al.
The “law” came, & with it came the beginning of moral consciousness: suddenly man was involved in a moral struggle. At once SIN – the TYRANT – seized the commandment (the letter of law) & used it as a weapon with which to kill us. As a result, two things clearly emerge: 1) the character of sin & 2) the real insufficiency of regulations. We see sin as it is because we know that it perverts even what is good in order to use it for its evil ends; & we know that moralism can reveal the nature of evil but cannot cope with its power. Paul says in vs.10, “the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.”
Pt.2
Paul, in ref. to vs.10: “And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be death.” Meaning the law in general, which was ordained to life; the rule of righteousness, teaching those statutes which if a man do he shall live in them (see Lev. 18:5), I found, by transgressing it, to be unto death; for it only presented the duty & laid down the penalty, without affording any strength to resist sin or subdue evil propensities.
Captivity
In part two I want to dwell on Rom. 7:23: “But I see another law in my members, WARRING against the law of my mind, & brining me into CAPTIVITY to the law of SIN which is in my members.”
Greek: There are 2 Gk. nouns & 3 verbs my target text, Rom. 7:23, is the verb aichmalōtizō, practically synonymous with the verb aichmalōteuō, which signifies a) to be a prisoner of war, b) to make a prisoner of war. The latter meaning is the one used in Eph. 4:8: “Wherefore He saith, when He ascended up on high, He led CAPTIVITY CAPTIVE & gave gifts unto men.” Those gifts included some prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, & apostles (4:11), both male & female.
First Corinthians 12 deals also with gifts “spiritual gifts”, e.g., word of wisdom, knowledge, faith, healings (PL.) miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, tongues (supernatural), & interpretation of tongues (12:8-10). `When Jesus ascended after His cross experience, He gave supernatural gifts to men & women. The same Spirit that anointed Him is the same Spirit that anoints you & me; see 1 Jn. 2:20,27; Gal. 5:22-23; Jn. 16:1,8-11; 14:16-26; Acts 1:8; Jn. 16:13; Eph. 1:16,17; Jn. 3:3,5; Rom. 15:16; Jn. 14:26; Jn. 15:26; 2 Cor. 3:18 et al. these texts show us how the Holy Spirit anoints, helps us bear fruit, convicts, comforts, empowers, guides, illuminates the mind, regenerates, sanctifies, teaches, testifies of Christ, transforms etc.
Back to Romans
Paul says, “I see another law in my members, WARRING against the law of my mind, & bringing me into CAPTIVITY (aichmalōtizō) to the law of sin which is in my members” (Rom. 7:23). So, the law of the Spirit & the law of sin are enemies… fighting for CONTROL of the believer. Some have been taught that at salvation, sins are washed away (by Jesus’ blood) & one can never sin again. I wish this were true. There is no sound scripture for this belief. The carnal mind is always present, even as a believer. BUT the Spirit has given us DOMINION POWER to resist sinful passions, which, from repeated gratifications, can turn into force of bad habits, thus, giving the “law” to the whole carnal man. I suggest one researches the N.T. to see if one becomes perfect at salvation: What you will find is lots of warning against falling into sin/sinful habits etc.
As one of our African Officers once said, “Christianity IS WAR!”
How many ignorant believers have been taken CAPTIVE by Satan/demons because they thought they were “sinless”?
The Jewish Nation
TJN is a good case-in-point whereby they believed their blood (raw would forever be protected – they were God’s covenant people after all – BUT they lived in a place & space that was displeasing to the very God they claimed to be obedient to. Well, A.D. 70 proved just how WRONG they were! Their rebellion & pride brought to them destruction, shameful/painful destruction! The beloved city of JerUSAlem was sacked & the “once saved always saved” believers were led into captivity (the ones not killed), hence, Rome prevailed; Israel failed!!! Luke 21:24 records this:
“And they WILL FALL by the edge of the sword, & be LED AWAY CAPTIVE into all nations. And JerUSAlem will be trampled by (Roman) Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled” – Jesus.
Do you think God’s New Israel will be SECURE while they also live in rebellion & pride…, playing the whore?
You see, SIN & CORRUPTION have a final triumph; & conscience & reason are taken CAPTIVE, laid in fetters, & sold for slaves. Can this ever be said of the true believer in whom the Spirit of God dwells, & whom the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made free from the law of sin & death? (see Rom. 8:2). One can truly be born again (Jn. 3:3) yet fall into sin because they fail to “fight the good fight of faith.” How many go to Church thinking they are “once saved always saved” yet are on the brink of HELL! And what of all these Church leaders who live double lives – live like a saint while at Church but live like Satan away from Church.
Dead Body!
Paul alludes to a man chained to a dead body when he penned vs.24: “O wretched man that I am (not was)! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” One scholar wrote: “This affecting account is finished more impressively by the groans of the wounded captive. Having long maintained a useless conflict against innumerable hosts & irresistible might, he is at last wounded & taken prisoner; & to render his state more miserable, is not only encompassed by the slaughtered, but chained to a dead body; for there seems to be here an allusion to an ancient custom of certain tyrants, who bound a dead body to a living prisoner, & obliged him to carry it about, till the contagion from the putrid mass took away his life!”
The Bible portrays the “old man”/ “carnal man” in like manner. The Christian has to carry on his/her warfare against the “stinking”, “rotting” body of sin – only by & through the Holy Spirit’s power can we/they overcome. (note: see how many times the word “overcome” is found in Rev. 2:1 – 3:22. I count 7 times, 1 times using “overcame” (3:21). Are we not called to be OVERCOMERS? If we were sinless at salvation, there is no need to be an overcome:
Overcome: Gk., 1) hikaō, 2) hēttaomai, 3) katakurieuō. We can either be overcomers or be overcome. Look these 3 Gk. words up with their corresponding scriptures.
Nouns: (1) Aichmalōtos (αϊχμαλότος), lit., one taken by the spear (from aichmē, a spear, & halōtos, a verbal adj., from halōai, to be captured), hence denotes a captive (see Lk. 4:18 et al.;
(2) Aichmalōsia (αἰχμαλωσία), captivity, the abstract noun in contrast to #1, the concrete, is found in Rev. 13:10 & Eph. 4:8, where “He led captivity captive” (marg., “a multitude of captives”) seems to be an allusion to the triumphal procession by which a victory was celebrated, the captives taken forming part of that procession. (see Judg. 5:12). The quotation is from Ps. 68:18, & probably is a forceful expression for Christ’s victory, through His Death, over the hostile powers of death & destruction, & darkness. An alternative suggestion is that at His Ascension Christ Jesus transferred the redeemed O.T. saints from Sheol (Hell/grave) to His own presence in Glory. Amen!
Verbs: (1) Aichmalōteuō (αἰχμαλωτεύω) signifies (a) to be a prisoner of war, (b) to make a prisoner of war (see Eph. 4:8);
(2) Aichmalōtizō (αἰχμαλωτίζω), (pretty much the same as He has already mentioned). It denotes either to lead away captive (Lk. 21:24), or to subjugate, to bring under control, said of the effect of the Law in ones members in bringing the person into captivity under the law of SIN (Rom. 7:23 = our target text); or of subjugating the thoughts to the obedience of Christ in 2 Cor. 10:5; or of those who took captive “silly women laden with sins (see “Women in the Ministry”, 2 Tim. 3:6);
(3) Zōgreō (ζωγρέω) lit. signifies to take men alive (from zōos, alive, & agreuō, to hunt or catch, see Lk. 5:10 – marg. “take alive”), there of the effects of the word of the Gospel; In 2 Tim. 2:26 it is said of the power of Satan to lead men astray. The text should read “and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the Devil (having been taken captive by him), unto the will of God.” This is the probable meaning rather than take alive or for life. I’ve written on 2 Tim. 2:26 in times past;
Snares
Snares (Gk., pagis/ παγίς) are traps, akin to pēgnumi, to fix, & pagideuō, to ensnare, used metaphorically of the allurements to evil (1 Tim. 3:7 = “snare of the devil”) 2 Tim. 2:26 = same). It also means seductions to evil, which ensnare those who “desire to be rich,” 1 Tim. 6:9; it means, as Rom. 11:9 says, (quoting David) “Let their table become a snare & a trap…”, the evil Israel brought upon themselves for their rejection of Christ & the Gospel that took them into apostasy. Luke 21:34,35 WARNS us, “take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing (dissipation), drunkenness, & cares of this life, & that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.” – NKJV.
The other Gk. word, brochos/ βρόχος, refers to a noose & is used metaphorically in 1 Cor. 7:35, “a snare” (R.V. = in the margin, “constraint” / “noose”. (see the Sept./LXX, Prov. 6:5; 7:21; 22:25).
For those who believe that a Christian can never sin again, ought to ponder these texts et al.
One translation reads: “… & they may escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.” Escape is a colorful word, meaning “to become sober again” or “come to one’s senses” (see 1 Tim. 3:7; 6:9. This last text, speaking of “desire to be rich, fall into temptation & a snare, & into many foolish & harmful lusts which DROWN men in DESTRUCTION & PERDITION.” How many ministers have been DESTROYED & are being so because of love/lust for money? How many T.V. evangelists et al. are literally controlled by the devil over getting rich? We see them year after year, growing fat (lit.) & comfortable with the riches of this world – telling us to “have your best life now”, & “God wants you to have the biggest, the best, & the most!” All lust of the flesh!!! Paul says, “Flee these things & pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness,” vs.11 of 1 Tim. 6).
The RSV has “they may escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.” Moffatt reads, “As they are brought back to life by God to do his will.” This parallels the prodigal son story: “This my son was dead (in sin), & is alive again,” Lk. 15:24. The Spirit’s joy is to REVIVE men, not sin. Men are intrinsically driven subconsciously by evil – greater or lesser. If men were born “good” there would be no need of a Savior. Men need salvation! If you have become dry & feel dead in your walk with God, pray for a personal REVIVAL. Since we, as one-time sinners without God, cried for help & God heard us & saved us (type of resurrection from the dead (Eph. 2:1,5), He hears us now when we feel dead in spirit.
Yes, there is coming the Great Resurrection but we can NOW experience a resurrection we can NOW be raised up & out of spiritual death. Future eschatological resurrection is sure but present resurrection is sure also. Ps. 85:6 says, “Will you (God) not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?” – NKJV. That Hebrew word châyâh means “to live”, lit. or fig., “give life, restore life etc.” Note the word “again”, meaning God’s people had been REVIVED before. Another Hebrew word is châvâh, meaning “to live again.” Can we not also pray, “Revive us again?” Habakkuk prayed, “O LORD, revive your work in the midst of the years!…” We too can pray that the LORD will revive the work He started in us. We’ve all felt (at times) that He has stopped working in us / for us. Spiritual death faces us day in & day out. We can pray revive us, restore us:
Restore:
(1) apodedōmi = give back;
(2) apokathistēmi = renewal;
(3) katartizō = furnish, mend.
We can pray for physical health to be restored as well as spiritual/mental/emotional health be restored. There is no (good) reason why we have to crawl along when we can walk – run – even fly as an eagle. The Spirit is looking for “Eagle Soldiers”, those that are not afraid of “waiting on the LORD”, i.e. serving Him – He is the Master; we are servants. (Isa. 40:31). We can become a living, flying member of God’s “Eagle Force”. Let us fly & not die!
WOS – WHY NOT FLY HIGH IN ME?
I speak unto you this day and I say, why not fly high in Me? In these times when people, being deceived by the devil and his demons are looking for ways to fly high, that is experience the supernatural. However what they fail to realize is, all the devil does is follow the same old agenda, which is to kill, steal, and destroy. Those who bite the bait of his enticements, enchantments, and seductions will find themselves as fish, with a hook in their jaws they cannot pull out. Or else wise they will find themselves in traps whereby there is no escape because they do not have the keys to unsnap the locks on the traps.
Consequently, they do not fly high, they simply go down, down, down into debauchery, decay, drunkenness, drug demented, and damned for their foolish choices and willingness to be deceived. My Way is just the opposite, for what I give to My people is the way of humility whereby they enter in and are by My mercies and miracles blessed. As they continue to serve Me by obeying the commands of My Spirit, they will find themselves being brought higher and higher into the realms of My Glory. It is in such places they will find the way of transcending and coming higher and higher in Me and partaking of the heavenly dimensions now while still on earth.
Know of a surety that My promises and covenants, I keep. I am not a liar, nor a deceiver and whatsoever I say that I will do, it is done by Me because I am the God who gives to My True Ones what they have need of each and every day. This I do because I am the God of righteousness and those who walk in the righteousness demonstrated by Jesus, receive the rewards I give to those who are upright.
Stop and consider I want My people to be One with Me even as My Son and I are One, so are they meant to walk in the realms of righteousness as My Spirit reveals such to them and by obedience they are brought forth. There is no reason to keep the doors open to the invasion of demons and the sins they offer. To do such is to remain in the condition of being double minded and by such behaviors to invite and invoke invasion. As you can see by the condition of nations which invite invasion they are deteriorating and being devastated by those things which enter into them and remain. I absolutely do not want to see you deteriorated and taken down into the captivity and slavery of sin for My intentions are for you to be Victors. As those who are called why not strive to be chosen and refuse the cup of the devil and his demons which will only make you a victim?
It is true that those who take on the role of victims gain attention from people for their pathetic states of being. However, My Glory does not remain upon them for I do not ordain those who are meant to bear the Light, the Life, and the Love of my Kingdom to be in such darkness.
Therefore when you are tempted to take the role of a “poor little victim” refuse that role and instead, come forth uplifted, thankful and giving Me praise for the Power, Glory, and Strength available in Me. Do not bring shame to My Name by accepting the role of the double-minded neither be those who choose to be victims for the attention they receive from people. Rather refuse, rebuke, and refute such temptations as the devil and his demons offer and steadfastly come forth in the Way of the Victorious. The more that you will speak Victory and believe for Victory, the more you will gain power over your enemies.
Since you are called and I want you to be chosen, measure up to your calling and elect to be in those I select by coming up to fly higher and higher in Me. When I give forth the invitation to Fly High, it is not for the usage of evil devices, It is for the revelations I want to bestow upon you regarding My Kingdom and the Glories and Beauties of the realms most will never enter into.
As you are choosing to serve in the attitude of gratitude, you will not be beset by those things that are dastardly and cause wretchedness to come upon you. Rather you will find more and more the mercies and the miracles I have in My plans for you. These experiences are not meant to be hoarded away, they are meant to be shared with those who are literally disgusted with their lives and the deceits they have lived in. Give to them the Hope that they can be set free from the captivity of carnality coupled with the demons who hold them in slavery to sins.
Those who have been delivered and are able to ascend in Me need to bear witness to those who are still enslaved and bound to let them know I hear the cries of those who are prisoners longing to be free. It is the greatest joy both here and in heaven when a sinner repents and those who turn the straying back to Me will receive rewards for bearing witness to such ones. When ever there is true repentance, both the Witnesses gone on to Glory and the Angels rejoice.
Be glad this day that you can labor for Me because you want to exhibit My Love, My Life, My Light to the lost and dying world. It is not you who is being exhibited, it is My Kingdom. I long for those who will love Me to the extent they are willing to lay their lives down, to die daily, so there is room for My Kingdom to shine forth. Love Me and manifest My Glory!
