By: Gen. Jim – 8/31/25

While I was in solitary, I took that time – time is all one has! – to write articles. Feeling sorry for myself would not make things any better. No Sir! Self-pity would only make things more dreary. Jail (before prison) was a new experience for me. Grants, N.M. had an old jail that was not fit to be in. After several weeks there we were moved to a larger & better jail on the other side of Grants. There were several of us there (male/female), including my wife. Our people (ACMTC) were the first to be loaded up & taken to our new “home”. I can still see that criminal under Sheriff Mike M. standing at the front gate waiting for us to be unloaded, knowing we were prisoners of their CONSPIRACY to destroy us all! (see PX3 Files for Proof, where Pete Baca (Special Agent for the State) tells Deborah’s attorney about this – under oath!).
During my jail time (locked up / locked down 23 hours each day) I carried on with my ACMTC work – writing articles. I first began to write articles back in 1982 when our very first publication – “Battle Cry” – was published (in Sacramento, CA.). As I write this article, I must have written thousands (with a “T”) articles, not counting the thousands of CDs/DVDs etc.
Yesterday (Aug. 27th, 2025) I was going through some stored boxes & I found a large envelope containing the following articles:
1) Sons of Light vs Son of Darkness – 3/5/18
2) Weapons of 30 – 3/6/18
3) Divine Brilliance – 3/9/18
4) Chariot of Fire – 3/9/18
5) More on War – 3/12/18
6) Divine Metropolis / Devilish Necropolis – 3/16/18
7) Full of Refuse & Offal – 3/17/18
8) Bold with Strength – 3/18/18
9) 2024 B.C. Nuclear Holocaust – 3/19/18
10) Isaiah 53 Servant: Extraordinary Altruism – 3/21/18
11) Millennial-Minded Madness – 3/23/18
12) The Boastful – 3/24/18
13) Opposition-Resistance Disorder – 3/25/18
14) Is Your Life a Religious Paradox? – 3/26/18
15) Give thanks to The LORD – 3/27/18
16) A Curse Without Cause – 3/28/18
[note: Some of these articles have the number of days I spent in isolation, e.g. 3/17/18 = 200 days; 3/18/18 = 201 days; 3/23/18 = 206 days; most articles I did not mark so.]
These 16 articles were just a few I wrote. Deborah claimed many of my articles I had sent to her (at Grants Women’s Prison) were thrown away when she got freed. Many more of them in my possession have been lost in the shuffle of me being taken to one prison after another (3 different prisons, plus 2 jails). On our aggressivechristians.com we have posted many of my prison articles (some I did not date; others have dates = some have POW (“prisoner of war”) beside my name but not date, but they were written from jail or prison).
With this said let me give a quick study on “prison” / “prison house”:
(1) Prison: Gk, desmōtērion, a place of bonds (from desmos, a bond, deō, to bind), “a prison” is found in Mt. 11:12 where “John had heard in prison the works of Christ…” John was in prison because he dared to expose sin in the nation of Israel. Mt. 4:12 says that Jesus heard of his arrest & imprisonment. We know the END of this prophet’s life: beheaded! (Mt. 14:10) Many of Jesus’ followers were put in prison for their faith, e.g. Acts 5:21,23; 16:26 et al.
(2) Phulakē, for the various meanings of which see cage, which denotes a prison, e.g., Mt. 14:10; Mk. 6:17; Acts 5:19; 2 Cor. 11:23 et al. Some versions use bonds as well. The KJV usually always uses prison or prisons. In 2 Cor. 6:5 the word “imprisonments” as well as Heb. 11:36 (KJV). In Rev. 2:10 says, “… behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison…” KJV. In our cases, the State of N.M. (= devilish) did this (see our PX3 Files for proof). Rev. 18:2 uses the word “cage’, KJV. Other versions use “a refuge”, “a haunt”, “a dwelling place” etc.
(3) Tērēsis, “a watching, keeping”, then, “a place of keeping”, is translated “prison” in Acts 5:18 (KJV), “word” in the R.V. Acts 12:7 tells us that an angel came into the prison to free Peter. Acts 12:7 use the Gk. word, “oikēma”, (Strong’s Concordance 3612) meaning “to occupy, reside, dwell, jail, prison”.
In Mt. 4:12, the KJV uses the Gk. word paradidōmi, = “to betray, deliver up, is translated, “was cast into prison” (S.C. #3860).
Research: Prison, mentioned many, many times, both in the Heb. & Gk.;
Prisoner = 13 times; Prisoners = 20 times; Prisons = 3 times.
Prisoner
(1) Desmios, an adj., primarily denotes “binding, bound, then, as a noun, “the person bound, a captive, prisoner.” (see Mt. 27:15,16; Mk. 15:6; Acts 16:25,27; 23:18; 25:14,27; 28:16,17; Eph. 3:1; 4:1; 2 Tim. 1:8; Phim. vs. 1 & 9. There are many more texts to research. In Heb. 10:34 & 13:3 the words “bonds” is used.
Writing to Stay SANE!
Spending months & months in isolation (I was a high profile prisoner!), to not fall into depression I would write, pray, study the Bible, I kept this up till I got released (May 4, 2023). I would send my articles with my letters to ACMTC H.Q. (& to my wife) to read, correct, & publish. As already stated, dozens & dozens I sent to Deborah at Grants Women’s prison. They hated her there, treated her as badly as they could get away with. My letters/articles I sent to her were taken & (destroyed!?) Some I had in my possession in my 5 years & 9 months, were lost in the process of moving around to several prisons. I think I wrote over 1,500 or 2,000 articles – some short, some long. The prisons took pleasure in taking our belongings (remember, we were the feared N.M. Cult!).
Deborah also spent months in isolation. After 4 years she went on a 40-day fast (water only!) She was hospitalized but she endured the 40-day fast. Shortly after this, she was released. Her lawyer found/discovered hidden exculpatory evidence that was never presented at her trial. This was dishonest & criminal in itself! Thank God for God’s mercy – she got released, but lots of her personal items were taken, my letters/articles etc.
In her trial false, defamatory, disparaging, & inflammatory statements were made against my wife by both state, country, & individuals. They made her look so BAD that even HELL wouldn’t want her!!!
Pt. 2
I covered the Greek meanings of “prison” – desmōtērion, phulakē, tērēsis, oikēma, & paradidōmi.
Prisoner
There are 3 Gk. words we’ll look at:
(1) Desmios (an adj.), primarily denotes “binding, bound”, then, as a noun, “the person bound, a captive, prisoner” (akin to deō, to bind): see Matt 27:15,16 (Jesus before Pilate as a prisoner, Barbbas as a prisoner); Mk. 15:6 (same as Mt. 27:15,16); Acts 16:25,27 (Paul & Silas in prison); Acts 23:18 (Paul as a prisoner); Acts 25:14 (where Paul, “a certain man left in bonds,” was brought to Agrippa), in vs.27 Paul is called “prisoner”. Acts 28:16,17 (we find Paul & other prisoners being taken to Rome); Eph. 3:1 (Paul calls himself “the prisoner of Jesus Christ”); Eph. 4:1 (he calls himself “the prisoner of the Lord”); 2 Tim. 1:8 (again Paul calls hiimself a “prisoner of the Lord”); Phim 1 (Paul calls himself “a prisoner of Jesus Christ”; vs.19 = the same); Heb. 10:34 (we find the word “bonds” as 13:3 uses the word “bonds” & “bound”)
It should be noted that the prison at Jerusalem (Acts 5) was controlled by the Jewish priests & (probably) attached to the high priest’s palace, or the temple. Saint Paul was imprisoned at “J” in the fort Antonia, (see Acts 23:10); at Caesarea, in Herod’s Praetorium (23:35); It is said by some historians that his final imprisonment was in the Tullianum dungeon at Rome.
(2) Desmōtēs (Acts 27:1 = Paul & certain other prisoners mentioned; vs.42 we find the prisoners being shipwrecked).
(3) Sunaichmalōtos (see Rom. 16:7 where the word “fellow-prisoners” is used.
The above Gk. word means a fellow prisoner, primarily one of fellow-captives in war (from aichmē, a spear, & haliskomai, to be taken), is used by the apostle Paul of Andronicus & Junias; Philm. 23 meantions Epaphras, a fellow-prisoner in Jesus Christ; Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, & Lucas are called fellow-labourers in vs.24; Aristarchus is also mentioned in Col. 4:10 as well as Marcus, both called fellow-prisoners
[Note: Prof. Lightfoot (Notes on the Epistles of St. Paul from unpublished commentaries, 1895) remarks that probably his relations with the Apostle in Rome excited suspicion & let to a temporary confinement, or that he voluntarily shared his captivity by living with him.].
Bond/Bonds
There are 6 Gk. words for “bond”;
(1) Desmos, from deō, “to bind”. This word is usually found in the plural, either neuter or masculine:
a) Lk. 8:29 = stands for the actual bonds which bind a prisoner. The KJV has “chains”, “fetters”, & “bonds”, speaking of the demonic Gadarene; Acts 16:26 has “bonds” (KJV); 20:23 (KJV) has “bonds”, 22:30 (KJV) has “bonds”.
b) The masculine plural stands frequently in a figurative sense for a condition of imprisonment, e.g., Phil. 1:7,13, i.e., “so that my captivity become manifest as appointed for the cause of Christ” (as one ms. reads). The KJV has “bonds” in both Phil. 1:7 & 13; verses 14 & 16 have “bonds”; Col. 4:18 has “bonds” (KJV); 2 Tim. 2:9 has “bonds” (KJV); Philemon 10 & 13 have “bonds” (KJV); Heb. 10:34 has “bonds” (KJV).
We can see that Scriptures speak often of “bonds” / “chains” (fig. or lit.). Should it be a surprise if we today are put in the same?
In Mark 7:35 (KJV) has “the string of his tongue was loosed” stands metaphorically for the infirmity which cause an impediment in his speech. In Luke 13:16 we find the word “bound”, speaking of the physical infirmity of the woman.
(2) Desmios, “a binding”, denotes “a prisoner”, e.g., Acts 25:14; Heb. 13:3. Paul speaks of himself as a prisoner of Christ in Eph. 3:1; 2 Tim. 1:8; Phim. 1,9 (“in the Lord), Eph. 4:1.
(3) Sundesmos = that which “binds together”, is said of “the bond of iniquity” in Acts 8:23; “the bond of peace”, Eph. 4:3; “the bond of perfectness, Col. 3:14 (figurative of the ligaments of the body); elsewhere, Col. 2:19, “bonds”, (figurative of the bonds which unite the Church, the Ekklesia, the body of Christ.)
(4) Halusis denotes “a chain”, Eph. 6:20. the KJV has “bonds”
(5) Gramma, in Luke 16:6 scholars point out that “bill” (KJV) or “note”, “agreement” etc. is used in other trans., somethings that binds an agreement. Strong’s has: “a writing, note, epistle, book, etc. scripture,” i.e. something written to bind persons in an agreement etc.
My last Gk. word is (6) Cheirographos, “a handwriting” is rendered “bond” in Col. 2:14: “having wiped out the handwriting (lit., certificate of debt) of requirements that was against us… having nailed it to the cross.” (KJV) The R.V. has “bond”; the ASV = “having blotted out the bond written in ordinances…”; the TCNT = “He cancelled the bond which stood against us…”; WMS = “cancelled the note that stood against us…”; the Phillips reads, “Christ has utterly wiped out the damning evidence of broken laws & commandments which always hang over our heads.”
If one desires to study more along these lines, the words “bondage”, “bondman”, & “bondservant” is the words to look up. The “bondman”, “doulos” = “to bind”, “servant”, “bondslave” of either Christ or Satan.
