Jesus said to His disciples. "If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself (disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interests) and take up his cross and follow Me (cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also). It's not about church; it's about your personal relationship with God. Seek God: God hears every word when you pray. Listen: God talks to everybody. You don't need to be anybody special to hear from God. Not every thought that goes through your mind is yours. After you pray and seek God, then when you know what God's will is: Obey. Jesus never said to build churches. He said, "Go then and make disciples of all nations; teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you." -Matthew 28:19-20
