So it is with those who are in My Supernatural Divine Forces, they are not meant to be concerned with the opinions of those who are not involved in combat; they are to be concerned with WINNING the battles as they arise. Consider, I do not want My people to be counted as casualties, I want them to be continuing & found ALIVE, ALERT, & ACTIVE under Spirit Command. The more attention & obedience given to the Commands of the Holy Spirit the more VICTORIES will be WON!”
So, dear Christian, do you think the Holy Spirit knows how things should operate within the “Army of God”? (1 Tim. 1:18; 2 Tim. 2:3,4). In this article/lesson, I want to write about the word “Command”. When most believers hear this word – command – they think in terms of cultish, “oh, those people are in a cult!” Little do they know or realize that there are 7 Greek words that define/explain the verb “command” we’re talking N.T., not O.T. =
1) Diatassō/ διατάσσω, signifies to set in order, appoint, command (Mt. 11:1 = “… when Jesus finished COMMANDING His twelve disciples…”; Lk. 8:55 = “… And He (Jesus) COMMANDED that she (dead girl raised to life) be given something to eat.”; see also Lk. 17:9,10 where this Gk. word is used twice; Acts 18:2 has commanded; 23:31 uses commanded. This Gk. word also means to give order, 1 Cor. 16:1 (in R.V. & KJV). So, in Acts 24:23 has commanded, where it is in the Middle Voice;
2) Epō/ἔπω, denotes to speak (connected with “to say”, eipon); so, among various renderings, to bid, command, Mt. 4:3; Mk. 5:43; 8:7; Lk. 4:3; 19:15.

[Note: In 2 Cor. 4:6, the R.V. (R.V. = Revised Versions of 1611 A.D., & 1881-1885) rightly has “said” followed by the quotation” Light shall shine out of darkness”]
3) Entellō/ἐντέλλω, signifies to enjoin upon, to charge with; it is used in the Middle Voice in the sense of commanding (Mt. 19:7; 28:20; Mk. 10:3; 13:34; Jn. 8:5; 15:14,17; Acts 13:47; Heb. 9:20; 11:22, “give commandment.”;
4) Epitassō/ἐπιτάσσω, signifies to appoint over, put in charge (epi, over, tassō, to appoint); Then, to put upon one as a duty, to enjoin, Mk. 1:27; 6:27,39; 9:25; Lk. 4:36; 8:25,31; 14:22; Acts 23:2; Philm. 8;
5) Keleuō/κελεύω, to urge, incite, order, suggests a stronger injuction than #6, Mt. 14:9,19; 15:35; 18:25; 27:58,64; Lk. 18:40; Acts 4:15 (note: Acts 4:15, frequently in Acts, not subsequently in the N.T.);
6) Parangellō/παραγγέλλω, to announce beside (para, beside, angellō, to announce), to pass on an announcement, hence, denotes to give the word, order, charge, command, e.g., Mk. 6:8; Lk. 8:29; 9:21; Acts 5:28; 2 Thes. 3:4,6,10,12;
7) Prostassō/προστάσσω, denotes to arrange or set in order towards (pros, towards, tassō, to arrange); hence, to prescribe, give command, Mt. 1:24; 8:4; Mk. 1:44; Lk. 5:14; Acts 10:33,48.
[Notes:]
1) In Rev. 9:14, “They were commanded not to harm…”, rheō = “to speak”, is trans. “said” in the R.V. (A.V. or KJV = “commanded”);
2) in Heb. 12:20 diastellomai = “to charge”, “enjoin (in the R.V.), is rendered “commanded” in the A.V./KJV;
3) in Mt. 21:6, the R.V., translating suntassō, as in the best mss., has “appointed”, A.V., “commanded”.
So –
There you have 7 Greek words on “command or commanded. But today’s liberal/woke/backslidden Church thinks to “order” or “command” is just too cultish, too harsh. Well, yes, for those thumb-sucking crybabies! But not for the true born-again, Spirit-filled Christian Soldier of Christ.
You’ll never know the criticisms we’ve received from “Christians” over all this. Why, you would think we’re teaching some strange doctrine. If one DARES to teach what the Bible actually teaches, ALL HELL will break out against them. They, like us, will receive all manner of hatred & will undergo character mutilation & buckets full of gossip. However, Jesus says in John 15:18, “If the world hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you.” The same goes for the “religious” Church-ites.
Spirit’s Commands
One has to have his/her spiritual ears open to hear what the Spirit is saying. Take note of the words, “He (or she) who has an ear, let him HEAR what the Spirit says…” (see Rev. chapters 2 & 3.)
