Rough-Rider:
According to the New World Dictionary of American English, RR is a person who breaks horses so that they can be ridden; a person who does much hard, rough riding; a member of a volunteer cavalry regiment organized by Theodore Roosevelt & Leonard Wood for service in the Spanish American War (1898).
Rough-and-Tumble:
We’ve all heard this expression. It is an adj. describing violent & disorderly conduct, with no or little concern for rules; a fight or struggle. RR & R & T can go together at times, depending on the circumstance or situation. T. Roosevelt was a famous RR here in America, later to become our 26th president (1901-09. He was born in 1859 & died in 1919).
Spiritual Context
If we put all this in a spiritual context, God’s people are to be “Rough Riders”. Those who are His chosen must learn to be RRs so as to be able to fight & continue steadfast no matter how intense the WAR/BATTLES.
Hear the Word of the LORD:
WOS 1-2-26 Rough Roads need Rough Riders
I speak unto you this day and I say that this year will be a Rough Road for both those who follow Me and those who do not. Those who are My people must learn to be Rough Riders so as to be able to exist and continue steadfast to be under the Mind of My Spirit.
Many who are of the world will find themselves totally tormented, confused, and unable to discern between good and evil in the times which are on the horizon. This is because they are of the world and the world is the devil’s playground. He sends for demons to entice and enchant people to come under the web of deception spread throughout the world. There are territorial demons all around the world who have been there for endless generations and such spirits hold the inhabitants in continual torments. If a newcomer arrives on the scene they are immediately met with suspicion and fear because of the ancient demons who rule in such areas.
This is why as I send forth My True Ones to “all the world” in order to follow the command which Jesus left to all disciples both then and now, to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. The disciples who are sent as missionaries to the lands where ancient demonic powers have remained for generations, those missionaries could end up hated and murdered. However I sent My Son Jesus into this sin-cursed earth to bring the Good News to people who had lived in darkness for generations. He followed My plan and even allowed His life to be taken on the Cross in order to fulfill His calling to open the Way to those who were in continual darkness. Because of His Faithfulness and Obedience, He opened the Way of Forgiveness and exhibited Mercies and Miracles during His earthly pilgrimage. Jesus for the most part walked and worked among the common people teaching them the Truth every day, and exhibiting the Mercies and Miracles which are found in My Kingdom. Inasmuch as He was not ashamed to declare the Truth, multitudes came to Repentance and were attentive to His messages to them. By His example He demonstrated to them the Higher Way of My Kingdom as compared to the religious pretenders who had taken over by rote religion the lives of the common Jewish people who supported the liars who were the priests.
Jesus did not hold beck from telling the reality of the hypocrisy of those who demanded of the people support while they cared nothing for the people they ruled. Jesus demonstrated the Love, Light, and Life which are found in My Kingdom and by so doing, He did miracles of healing, freeing the blind, the lepers, the deaf and dumb. He likewise raised people to life again from the dead. The miracles He did among the common people were constant and so the jealousy and hatred of the wicked became more and more vicious and they were plotting His death continually.
No matter how Rough the Road, Jesus kept going mostly on foot or in boats or riding on the back of an ass. Never once did He demand the finest of foods, luxurious accommodations, and His own chariot with While Horses pulling Him in extravagance.
Because He came in Humility, and took the Rough Road and lived the Life He taught about, the proud held Him in contempt. These made a mockery of Him and joined with the Hypocritical Mockers who were in the priesthood. However, they did not keep Jesus from walking in the way He knew He must walk in order to be pleasing to Me. Jesus did not come to build up His own Kingdom, He came from Me to declare My desire and when He had given His All, He was returned to Me.
Those who were His true disciples took the same walk and obeyed His command to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. He did not come to call the Righteous to Repentance, but the sinners. Without His sacrifice the possibility of Salvation, Deliverance, Consecration, and Dedication to Me would never have been opened up to the lost and dying multitudes who were losing their lives and their souls because of their sins against Me.
If you consider the devil and his demons at the time Jesus came believed they were having a “wonderful time” however they were unaware that they would face the consequences which arose from Jesus’s example. Vast multitudes throughout the ages would choose to die for Him and were not afraid of any torture or wretchedness the wicked would afflict them with. This is because such ones had made up their minds, no matter the cost to them personally to walk with Jesus and be found well pleasing to Me by their determination to come forth in the “straight and narrow way.”
So the time for martyrdom has not passed away although the “church comfortable and complacent”. refuse to admit it to be so. However the very fact of men and women willing to die for Jesus Christ will be made evident. The wicked will incite and command the demon possessed to kill in cold blood, those who are openly declaring Jesus Christ as Savior and telling multitudes of their need to Repent. In nations who have a remnant of True Believers, the demons will rant, rage, and demand death to those who are not ashamed to be identified with Jesus Christ. People will see for themselves how vicious, cruel, and hateful the workers of wickedness are. Those who Remain True even unto death will receive their crowns of glory.
