Part One
Author Paul Copan in his book, “Is God A Moral Monster? (2011) writes: “The Manifest Destiny idea has shaped much of American life, though the term came into use in the 1840s to validate the United States’ expansion into Texas, Mexico, & Oregon. Early in America’s history, many Protestants who came to America believed that they were extending the Reformation; God’s special hand of blessing was upon them as they hoped to realize the postmillennial dream: bringing God’s kingdom to earth. The governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, John Winthrop (1588-1649), say the New England Colony as ‘a city upon a Hill’ (sic.) with ‘the eyes of all people… upon us’.” – quoted from Paul Johnson’s, A History of the American People (NY: Harper Collins, 1997, pp.30-33).
Copan continues: “The problem here was that the early colonists’ vision was blurred; they didn’t distinguish between Church & state. They assumed that they were the new people of God embarking on a new exodus – an errand in the wilderness – to do theocracy the right way.” (p.73).
In years gone by I have written on all this (start with “America’s Golden Calf”, at our Cult of the Living God site).
Believe a Lie?
Yep! maybe the “Christian Nation” advocates don’t see it is a lie but are deceived (as I once was, thinking America was a Christian nation). I go into this in my articles (I did my research). Even today there is confusion over “Church” & “state” which one is to be believed & obeyed? Many believe the community of genuine believers in the U.S. are the people of God. But I have shown in various articles that one has to be born-again via repentance, before one becomes a Christian – with water baptism following. Many just belong to a Church without ever being born again. Jesus emphatically said in Jn. 3:3,5 one MUST BE BORN AGAIN before one can enter into the Kingdom. And one is not born again until one REPENTS of his/her sins… as both John the Baptist & Jesus taught (Mt. 3:1,2; 4:17: repent, Gk., (verb) metanoeō, lit., to perceive afterwards (meta, after, implying change, naeō, to perceive; nous, the mind, the seat of moral reflection, in contrast to pronoeō, to perceive beforehand, hence signifies to change one’s mind or purpose, always, in the N.T., involving a change for the better, an amendment, and always, except in Lk. 17:3,4, repentance from sin. Another verb is metamelomai = to care for, signifying to regret, to repent oneself etc. (see also the adj., ametamelētos, & the noun metanoia; many scriptures can be cited: No repentance, no forgiveness; no forgiveness, no eternal life.
So, even if most Americans claim to be “Christian”, this does not automatically make the United States a “Christian Nation”. While the U.S. has a fair share of true Christians, most are not.
A true THEOCRACY has God as the Creator & Sustainer. I guess Israel was the first & last true Theocracy. If we believe that America is a “Christian” nation, it must have salt and light. The government must be under God’s Headship – which America is not! Church & state are not UNITED; that is when God’s cosmic righteous & loving rule is ultimately established on earth (see Rev. 21-22). Sadly, many laws in the U.S. gov. are antiChrist /antiChristian (see my article, To Hell with Americanism, at Righteousness Revolution, under Basic Foundational Truths).
America = Christian?
We wish! Like I said, Ancient Israel was a true Theocracy, under the Mosaic covenant – even this wasn’t intended to be ideal & permanent. Paul speaks of this in his epistle to the Ephesians (3:1-7, e.g. “that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, & partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,” vs.6. In vs.3 he speaks of “the mystery”; in vs.5 he says this mystery had not been known in other ages. The “mystery” was solved when Christ established the New Testament “New World Order”, i.e., the universal Ekklesia filled with converted Jews & Gentiles.
Faith in God
A faith in pre-destiny. When purpose is revealed, all falls into place: Heaven comes to earth so to speak. Only by revelation came the N.T. Ekklesia, not by philosophies of men, but by the purpose of God.
Men had known about God/gods for many centuries. Jesus was no mere super-Socrates; He was/is the Living God, the Savior of the world. The “good news”, i.e., the gospel as oughtness, as an imperative, can be sad news, a dysangelion in place of an evangelion.
To the Sons of Men
“Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto His holy apostles & prophets by the Spirit,” Eph. 3:5. “To the sons of men” is a Hebraism; “to men”. No distinction is made in favor of Israel; no suggestion is made that the Jewish people were granted an anticipation of the universality of the gospel. The essential “newness” of the Christian revelation is stressed in contrast with the ignorance of humankind as a whole in other generations.
The Good News!
Romans 5:8 presents the Good News: “While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” – not just for the Jewish nation.
Ok., we know the gospel story. But some have taken all this to mean that America was chosen to be the “New Israel”. I’ve read all kinds of takes on this idea. The early Puritans/Pilgrims believed America (before it was called this) was “a Citty (sic) upon a Hill”. The earthly ministry, death & resurrection of Christ Jesus & the outpouring of the Holy Spirit led to the creation of a new, interethnic community – the TRUE Israel of God, a new Royal Priesthood & a new Holy Nation (as described by 1 Peter, 2:9).
The O.T. Theocracy gave way to a new Covenant Community (Ekklesia = “called out ones” from every nation & language under heaven (Mt. 8:11,12; 21:43 etc.). With the fall & capture of JerUSAlem in A.D. 70, it marked the finality of this ordained transition, signaling the demise of racial/national/ethnic Israel. To this day, the Jews refuse to accept this truth. The ones who have accepted it become part of the New Israel. The O.T. Jewish Judaism was merely the shadow of what was ordained – the substance. ALL nations are now invited to join this New Israel (2 Pet. 3:13 tells us “We, according to His promise, look for new heavens & a new earth in which righteousness dwells”).
Now
What is now will eventually be gone, rather changed, as Peter writes (2 Pet. 3:10-13). This will be the REAL world, a NEW THEOCRACY. (see Rev. 21:11; Enoch 91:16; Isa. 65:17; 66:22 et al.).
No matter what we think or believe about the New Israel; the important thing is to live “in peace, without spot, & blameless,” 2 Pet. 3:14. Peter urges maintenance of the primitive Christian expectation of Jesus’ 2nd coming. If we live like Hell now, do not expect to live in Heaven in the future.
In the Meantime
“… We… look for new heavens & a new earth in which righteousness dwells.” This is not to say that it does not dwell among us now (2025 A.D.). This present generation is the ongoing “chosen generation”, the “royal priesthood”, the “holy nation”, the “peculiar people of God” the apostle Peter wrote about in his first epistle to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, & Bithynia. He was writing to the elect (1 Pet. 1:2). The RSV says, “the chosen & destined”. On this word “elect” depend the 3 following phrases. The readers’ choice, consecration, & forgiveness were all part of the LORD’s great plan. Father… Spirit… Jesus Christ. (vs.2). Note the trinitarian sound & symmetry of Peter’s words & compare them to Paul’s in 2 Thes. 2:13,14 where we find God (Father), Spirit, & Lord Jesus Christ. Just where do we find these 3 in our U.S. Constitution? We DO NOT!
Paul’s mention of “sanctification by the Spirit” (2 Thes. 2:13, NKJV) means in virtue of hallowing by the Spirit. One has to be Biblically saved for this operation to take full effect, (a subjective genitive). Probably a reference to reception of the Spirit baptism (see my articles the Baptism with the Holy Spirit).
What the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit do in the converted sinner is beyond what mere “religion” can do; it is beyond human ways & means. The whole Christian movement is not at the mercy of men, nor is it something which men support & protect – the sovereign & holy mercy/love/forgiveness of God in Christ is the unshakable foundation of all things.
Back to 1 Pet. 2:9
If, as many believe, America is a “Christian” nation, why are not the names of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit found? (see my article on why). Before the creation of what is now called the United States of America, the 13 colonies had their constitutions which mentioned these sacred names: but the U.S. Constitution does not, for it is a humanistic constitution.
Prof. Gary North wrote: “From the beginning of the constitutional era, Christan historians have promoted the MYTH of the Christian origin of the Constitution (“C”). Philip Schoff, the most prominent American evangelical church historian of the late 19th cent., summarized this view… ‘We may go further & say that the “C” not only contains nothing which is irreligious or unchristian, but is Christian in substance, though not in form. It is pervaded by the spirit of justice & humanity, which are Christian…’” North wrote this in 1989. I’ve read most of his books – he does not believe the USA to be “Christian”, i.e., the constitution. And the myth that signers of the U.S. constitution were “Christian” is true – most were not. Many were Masons, as North et al. write. (note: one should read North’s, Political Polytheism: The Myth of Pluralism, esp. p.551). There are dozens of authors that expose the “America = Christian” myth.
Facts Matter
Yep! Facts do matter if one wants TRUTH. Look back at America before & since the ratification of the U.S. const. Before 1788, America was principally Christian. Since 1788, America has become progressively LESS Christian in every respect. This alone speaks volumes about the document drafted in 1787 in Philadelphia. Is it anything likened unto what Peter wrote in 1 Pet. 2:9?
Please ponder what Rey Barrow has quoted from “The Constitution & the Church”, Original Covenanter & Contending Witness (Pottstown, PA: 1845), as he debated Andrew Sandlin, e.g., “Debate on the U.S. constitution: “This instrument, which acknowledges no God, knows no church, protects idolatry equally with Christianity, & puts the servants of Satan on the same footing, in all that belongs to political franchises, with the fearers of God, has imbued the churches, to a most lamentable extent, with its own impious principles. Preferring the doctrines of the constitution to those of the Bible – Washington to Moses, & Jefferson to David, the mass of professors scoff at God’s legislation, embodied in the Mosaic institutions… There never was a government that has exercised so rapid & fatal an influence over the doctrines, the discipline, & the whole character of the Church, as the God-rejecting Constitution of the United States…”
In short, the U.S. Constitution is a human, not a Christian document!! How long will Americans believe this LIE? (read Ps. 19:7-11). Most of today’s “Christians” are antinomian, that is a person who maintains that Christians are freed from the moral law by virtue of grace & faith. HA! Obeying God “Moral Laws” is obligatory, legally and morally binding!
Selective Hermeneutics
Antinomians quote “select” N.T. passages, which APPEAR to ABOLISH the laws of Yahweh/God/the LORD, while completely ignoring the Plethora of N.T. passages that support the N.T. Covenant we have, over the years, debated these “free spirits”, thinking they can live like HELL & still go to Heaven. Delusional! (read Jn. 14:15; 15:10; Rom. 2:20; 3:20; 3:31; 7:12,14; 8:4,7; 1 Cor. 7:19: 1 Tim. 1:8; Heb. 8:10; 1 Jn. 2:3,4,5; 3:4; 5:2,3; Rev. 12:17; 14:12; 22:14 – be convinced!). There was the O.T. law & there is the N.T. laws. But some O.T. laws (of morality) are still in effect; which must be obeyed. Gal. 3:10 says that men WORKED for salvation; the N.T. is not of “works” but of grace & faith – this does not mean we disobey moral laws; we do not work for our salvation – it is a free gift. Biblical faith entails more than simply belief. The devil also believes! Belief alone does not justify the believer (see Mk. 16:15,16; Acts 2:36-41; 22:1-16; Rom. 6:3,4; Gal 3:26,27; Col. 2:11-13; 1 Pet. 3:21.
Holy Nation?
Be honest. When was America this? Please don’t think I’m anti-America. NO! I’m showing that America was never a “holy nation”, i.e., a Biblical Christian nation – it has millions of professing believers in it, but the U.S. Constitution is not a Christian document.
Part Two
For the record: The Preamble:
“WE THE PEOPLE of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union…” Ok, what people? The Christians, the Masons, the other religious peoples (Roman Catholic, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, humanists, atheists, etc.?) Is the Preamble strictly speaking of “we the people”, i.e., “we the Christians”?
“A More perfect Union”. Contrast this with New Haven’s 1639 Agreement (“We ALL agree that the Scriptures hold forth a PERFECT rule for the direction of government”), one of the purposes for this new “Constitution” was “to form a more perfect Union.” One historian (T.R. Weiland) has said, “What the framers had in mind was union ‘more perfect’ than that of the Articles of Confederation. However, because the Articles of the Confederation & the Constitution were both based upon the imperfect laws of man, both were a far cry from the governments of the New England Colonies.”
So, “more perfect” is not the same as perfect. Neither the framers nor the Constitution nor the Union it formed were perfect; God’s Law/laws are perfect (Mt. 5:48; Job 31:16; Pt. 32:4; 2 Sam. 22:31; Rom. 12:2; Ps. 19:17).
Let me finish the Preamble: “… establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for common defense, promote the general welfare, & secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves & our posterity, do ordain & establish this “C” for the United States of America.” Not a single mention of the Father, Son, or Holy Spirit! America’s NEW God (god) was/is “we the people”. How is the U.S. Constitution divinely inspired? The God of the Bible was ABANDONED; god was His replacement.
Article VI, Clause 3
I’ve written on this before, i.e. the “no religious test oath”. This Article 6, Clause 3 of the Constitution “closed the door judicially to any transcendent god beyond the political order itself. The Constitution is therefore an apostate covenant; a wholly new god is ordained in it, a god acknowledged by the Framers in order to ordain it & ratify it: the American People,” writes Prof. G. North (see his book, Conspiracy in Philadelphia, 2004, p.322).
R.J. Rushdoony: Point #1
The idea of “We the people” represents a new god will prove difficult for many. Let me present the inescapable truths of government & religion R.J.R. writes:
1. Law is in every culture religious in origin.
2. The source of law is the god of that society.
3. In any society, any change of law is an explicit or implicit change of religion.
4. No disestablishment of religion as such is possible in any society.
5. There can be no tolerance in a law-system for another religion. (taken from his book, The Institutes of Biblical Law, 1973, pp.4,5).
Since I have written some of these truths in my other articles (mentioned, online), I will present some new things for your consideration:
Point #2
“The source of law is the god of that society” writes Rushdoony. Think about what he believes. Let us consider what a theocracy is, in its definition. Since America from the get-go has claimed to be a “Christian” nation, there should be proof. Right?:
“A form of government in which God as a deity is recognized as the supreme ruler…” (Random House Webster’s College Dict. 2000, p.1356).
Please understand that not all theocracies (“T”) are Christian. A government’s law reflects its morality, & the source of that morality (too often immorality!) is its god. Concerning the USA, the American people, by way of their elected officials, are the source of the constitutional Republic’s laws. Therefore, the Constitutional Republic god is “We the people”! Why are the names God /Father /Son /Jesus /Christ /Lord/Spirit/Holy Spirit MISSING from the U.S. Constitution? Take note of this:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion (which includes Christianity), or prohibiting the free exercise thereof (meaning other religions are free to be/operate); or abridging the freedom of speech or the press…” This my dear readers is gov. – sanctioned polytheism (read the Treaty of Tripoli, article11):
Not only did the framers establish the U.S. Constitution as the supreme law of the land, they also declared ALL subsequent laws/ treaties made under the authority of the U.S. to be supreme as well.
Please take note of the following quote, the treaty made with the godless Muslims (by “godless” I mean, not the Holy God of the Holy Bible, but a false god, “Allah”) of Tripoli, which also became a part of the supreme law of the land: “… the government of the U.S. of A. is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion…” What? (Treaty with Tripoli, of Barbary, Article 11). This, my dear Christians, was unanimously approved by the 5th Congress & signed by President John Adams. It is said that shortly thereafter, it was printed in its entirety in the Philadelphia Gazette & in 2 N.Y. papers.
Samuel Adams (2nd cousin to John Adams) concurred with this Treaty. He wrote: “Your Excellencies, will, I hope, excuse me when I differ from you as to our (U.S. Const. Rep’s.) having a religion (Christianity) in common with you (England); the religion of America is the religion of ALL mankind. Any person may worship in the manner he thinks most agreeable to the Deity; & if he behaves as a good citizen, no one concerns himself as to his faith or adorations, neither have we the least solicitude (care) to exalt any one sect or profession above another.” Believe what you want in reference to this quote. (this quote is from PBS, Bill Moyers Journal, Jan. 4, 2008)
Enter David Barton
David Barton (founder & president of Wall Builders) and other historians say that the framers nowhere attributed the inspiration for any specific article or amendment in the U.S. Const. to the Bible or the laws of God/Yahweh. (note: after reviewing over 2,200 political writings published between 1760 & 1805, D.S. Lutz & C.S. Hyneman concluded, regarding the Bible’s influence upon the constitutional framers / others of that period: they found the Book of Deuteronomy was cited, but considered it (the Bible) irrelevant. (see D.S. Lutz, The Relative Influence of European Writers on Late 18th-Century American Political Thought (1984, pp.189-197).
Constitution Inspired?
We’ve all heard this. There are many docs/books/writings et al. that are “inspired” but by whom? Would it be a far stretch to believe that the U.S. Constitution was “inspired by “we the people”, not by God? Patrick Henry (who refused to be one of Virginia’s delegates to the Constitutional Convention) later insisted the conventioneers had no right to claim they represented “the people”. Why do we believe that most signers were dedicated Christians? Let us recall, “Congress shall make NO LAW respecting an establishment of religion…” This tells us that Biblical Christianity would NOT be America’s primary religion, but all religions would be welcome. Tell me, where do we find this in either the O.T. or N.T.? We don’t! All religions = polytheism. (don’t forget about the article 6,3 religious test oath – it was dropped, hence any Tom, Dick and Harry could be/would be welcomed. Is this Bible? NO! It would take me days to cite all available writing debating this issue: Christianity vs Polytheism.
True Christianity
TC is never tolerated when ALL religions are tolerated for it is too true to be allowed. Look at the current FIGHT going on between the Dems & GOP. Real nasty. The Right vs the Left shows us just how far this nation is from God. Under a true Theocracy this would never have gotten so anti-Christ/anti-Christian.
Back to Point 2
“The source of law is the god of that society.”
People recoil at the idea of a “Theocracy”, even many believers! They do not want law restricting them; laws being forced upon them. But, take a deep breath, all nations have laws forced upon them. This is an inevitability of government. Allow me to put forth a long quote concerning this (taken from a person that I have read many of his writings, Gary DeMar):
“The rejection of one god leads inescapably to the choice of another god. If a person, group, court, etc. establishes himself as the final arbiter of right & wrong, then he/they have assumed the attributes of a god. Thus, he/they are theocratic… Democracy can become theocratic if absolute power is given to the people… vox populi, vox dei, ‘the voice of the people is the voice of God’. Those who promote a particular worldview & want to see it implemented socially, educationally, politically, & judicially have elevated the majority to the status of gods…”
To bring this thought home, this is exactly what the democratic party is working/warring towards – to have a ONE-party system that holds ALL power & control of this nation. It is called Communism. Stripped of all propaganda & pretense, this current movement – “destroy MAGA, destroy God” – is determined to put “old America” out to pasture & to bring in “New Amerika”, America’s new god! (see my articles on Communism, esp. the 45 current goals to destroy America). Instead of “class” we have “race” at this point. They want to destroy forever the entire Judaic-Christian code, primarily the 10 Commandments. These idiots hate God as the Creator & Master Architect of the universe: they want a god that allows the worst kinds of sins & crimes. But, thank God, God has raised up a greater force that is stopping them. While they are blaming Trump for all America’s ills, it was their brain-dead Prez (J. Biden) that set in motion what we currently see, esp. the illegal invasion problem.
Gary DeMar continues: “One assumes the mantle of deity when he/she sets themselves up as the ultimate authority. It’s the attributes of deity that makes someone god-like. In the 18th century, the French revolutionaries declared ‘reason’ to be the goddess of their new state religion, 19th century France was spoken of as ‘goddess France’ by patriotic figures like Victor Hugo & Charles Maurras. Hegel, the philosophical patron saint of Communism, wrote that ‘the State is the Divine Idea as it exists on earth… we must therefore worship the State as the manifestation of the Divine on earth… The State is the march of God through the world.” (G. DeMar, “Defining Terms: Theocracy”, 2007).
The democrats, aka demon-crats try & convince us that they have ALL the answers to America’s problems. Really? Under the Clintons, Obama, and Biden, America was being destroyed little-by-little. We saw what brain-dead Biden did – opened the Borders to invite millions of people in… bringing with them their ideas, religions, crimes, drugs etc., etc…. all hoping to make the DP THE “Everlasting” party that would rule/control the masses.
Just the Facts, Man!
Because “… there is none other God but one” (1 Cor. 8:4), there can be only one TRUE theocracy. The U.S. Constitutional Republic is one of those many governments in which the people have DEHTRONED Yahweh/God as the God of their society. They did this when they made “We the people” their god. America, i.e. the 13 colonies (which had the names God, Jesus, Holy Spirit mentioned in their constitutions), made up what was called the United States. God was the God of those colonies back yonder, e.g.:
The Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Compact, 1638 states, “We whose names are underwritten do hereby solemnly in the presence of JEHOVAH incorporate ourselves into a Bodie Politick (sic) & as He shall help, will submit our persons, lives & estates unto our LORD JESUS CHRIST, the King of Kings, & Lord of Lords, & to all these perfect & most absolute laws of His given in Holy Word of truth, to be guided & judged thereby.” While not all the people were Christian, their Colonies were most made up of such.
Another example:
The Colony of New Haven, Connecticut, 1639:
“Agreement; we all agree that he Scriptures hold forth a perfect rule for the direction & government of all men in duties which they are to perform to GOD & to man, as well in families & common-wealth as in matters of the church; so likewise in all public officers which concern civil order, as choice of magistrates & officers, making & repealing laws, dividing allotments of inheritance and all things of like manner, we will, all of us, be ordered by the rules which the Scriptures hold forth; & we agree that such persons may be entrusted with such matters of gov. as are described in Ex. 18:21 & Dt. 1:13 with Dt. 17:15 & 1 Cor. 6:1,6,7…”
The 1639 agreement makes no reference to any other government as its source of authority:
“It is worthy of note that this document,” wrote John Fiske, “contains none of the conventional references to a ‘dread sovereign’ or a ‘gracious king’, nor the slightest allusion to the British or any other government outside of Constitution itself…” (see The Historical Writings of John Fiske, 12 vols., (1902) vol.6, p.155).
Richard Mosier identified the Puritan Bible as not “only the holy restored Word of God, but a constitutional doc of the Protestant movement,” (see The American Temper, 1952, p.44).
[note: an American constitution existed almost 150 years prior to the U.S. Const.].
One should read Alexis de Tocqueville’s, Democracy in America, 1835. The following is a quote from one of his 2 vols. (vol.1, 1899, pp.36,37): “Amongst these docs we shall notice, as especially characteristic, the code of laws promulgated by the little State of Connecticut in 1650. The legislators of Connecticut begin with the Penal laws, & … they borrow their provisions from the text of Holy Writ. ‘Whosoever shall, worship any other God than the Lord,’ says the preamble of the Code, ‘shall surely be put to death.’” What? Yep! He continues, “This is followed by 10 or 12 enactments of the same kind, copied verbatim from the books of Exodus, Leviticus, & Deuteronomy. Blasphemy, sorcery, adultery, & rape were punished with death…”
The statement about putting one to death for the worship of any other god than the LORD, reminds me of what is written in Joshua 1:18: “Whoever rebels against your command & does not heed your words, in all that you command him, shall be PUT TO DEATH…” Joshua was God’s representative on earth. God was THE GOD of Israel, hence, if one did not obey Joshua’s words – which were God’s words – were to die! Can you even imagine this in today’s La La Church?, in this “Christian” nation?
Part 3
America (once) was exalted in the eyes of the whole world because of her applied righteousness, embodied in the LORD’s PERFECT law. “It is better to trust in God than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in God than to put confidence in princes.” Ps. 118:8,9; “The law of the LORD is perfect…”, Ps. 19:7. That word “perfect” in Hebrew is tâmîym, meaning integrity, truth, without blemish, complete, sincere, sound, undefiled, upright etc. Why do men hate God’s law?
When the U.S. became a nation, she stopped following God’s laws & began following the laws of “we the people”. In the 1800s, McGuffey’s Eclectic Reader, America’s most popular school book, testified to America’s early form of theocratic gov. (note: we taught our ACMTC children out of these old books):
“Their form of government was as strictly theocratical insomuch that it would be difficult to say where there was any civil authority among them distinct from ecclesiastical jurisdiction. Whenever a few of them settled a town, they immediately gathered themselves into a church; & their elders were magistrates, & their code of laws was the Pentateuch (O.T.) … God was their King; & they reguarded Him as truly & literally so…” (see William Holmes McGuffey, McGuffey’s 6th Eclectic Reader, 1879, p.225). These are fantastic reading (school) books.
In “The History of New Hampshire”, Jeremy Belknap & John Cotton, the first minister of Boston (now a totally PC/woke/LGBTQ city) “… earnestly pleaded “that the government might be considered as a theocracy, where in the Lord (Jesus) was judge, lawgiver & King; that the laws which He gave Israel might be adopted…” (1862, pp.42,43).
John Welch’s writing “Biblical Law in America”, (2002) has this to say: “… it has rightly been concluded that ‘the ideal polity of early Puritan New England was thought to comprehend divine intentions as revealed in Mosaic law.’ The rule of law began, not with the rules of man but with the rules of God. One Puritan doc directly states, ‘the more any law smells of man, the more unprofitable.’ & thus, it asserts, the only proper laws were in fact ‘divine ordinances, revealed in the pages of Holy Writ (Bible) & administered according to deductions & rules gathered from the Word of God.’”
Stinking & Rotting!
Today’s political & religious, as well as educational et al. systems STINK to high heaven. The very atmosphere of the PC/woke/Commie is NAUSEUOS. While Trump & team is trying to Make America Great Again, the hostile dems are fighting tooth & claw.
The late 18th-century Christianity was quite different from the Christendom of early America. Daniel J. Boorstin, who wrote, The Americas, said, “… [by] the mid-18th-cent…. Puritanism was all but DEAD!” (1987, p.6).
This means, as I’ve been writing about for decades now, that government based upon the law of God was all but DEAD! While America has 10s of 1,000s of churches, most are DEAD & DRY… the Spirit leaving a long time ago. Now we have a new breed (serpent seed!) of Churchites, LGBTQ+ et al. that want us to believe they are “cutting edge” warriors. HA! They are DAMNED!!!
Boorstin continues: Theirs (late 18th-cent. man’s view of Christianity) was not a violent passion inspiring men to rebuild Zion… but a quietly pervasive sentiment which suffused the institutions of the colony with a mild aura of divine sanction… The responsibilities of governing New England also dulled the edge of dogma so that by the late 17th-cent. they had begun those prudent compromises which would produce 18th-cent. Congregationalism & 19th-cent. Unitarianism. Anglicanism in Virginia, for similar reasons, was destined to be even more practical & compromising than it had been in England” (ibid, pp.124,125).
HELL FIRE!
Yep! This is what we need today! We need God’s “Sword that CUTS & the FIRE that BURNS… cutting out & cutting off excess fat & allowing the Holy Ghost FIRE to BURN the Hell out of us!!!
The old framers et al. that helped in the establishing the United States (out of the “Christian” 13 Colonies) were a mixed bag of snakes. Even Gen. George Washington was a churchgoer but never, ever took communion – the sign that one was a Bible-Christian. He was religious indeed but believed other religions were just as good. He visited Jewish, Muslim, Roman Catholic places of worship, (see my articles on this).

If one was to look up A Theological Interpretation of American History (1964), pp.13,14), written by C. Gregg Singer, one will read this: “The idea that the state was beyond the reach of the claims of the Bible was… abhorrent to the Puritan…” In the Scriptures they found the origin, the form, the functions, & the powers of the state & human government. This resort to the Scriptures as the exclusive norm for human political organization & activity clearly differentiated them from both the Roman Catholics & that rising group of secularist writers [particularly in the 1700s] who were finding the origin of the state & the source of its power in a vaguely defined source known as the social compact or contract. In the Puritan view of the life of man could no more create the government under which he would live & endow it with its just powers than he could effect his own salvation…
Basic in Puritan political thought is the doctrine of divine sovereignty. The earthly magistrate… was a minister of God under common grace for the execution of the laws of God among the people at large, for the maintenance of law & order, & for so ruling the state… In Puritan political theory the magistrate derived his powers from God & not from ‘We the people’.
There is more:
“The whole conception of government that would later be proclaimed by John Locke & others, which placed the sovereignty in the hands of the people & which found the origin of government in a human compact was utterly unknown to the Puritans. They did not believe in a government by the people… [They sensed] that in the democratic philosphy, with its emphasis upon the sovereignty of the people, lay a fundamental contradiction to the Biblical doctrine of the sovereignty of God. They clearly perceived that democracy was the fruit of humanism & not the Reformation concept.” (ibid. pp.18,19)
Enter R. Mosier
Richard Mosier’s book, The American Temper (1952), has written, “The waning of Puritanism & the rise of religious rationalism by loosening the bonds of the ancient (Biblical) faith, had thus prepared the colonial mind for the revolutionary ideas of the 18th-century… The religion of reason triumphed over the waning Puritanism, & [allegedly] drew from a weakened God a bill of inalienable rights; while the piety which had once inspired the indomitable Puritan fled into the arms of evangelical religion & bred a sentimental religion of the heart.” (p.35)
Mosier continues:
“The sovereignty of man… becomes the rallying cry of republican religion, bringing to a final point of disintegration the forces of Puritanism” (ibid, p.79).
Democrats & Republicans fight it out BIG time today. Religious denominations/sects also fight it out over doctrine & behavior etc. Both the political & religious are contending over LGBTQ+ rights, over abortion et al.
Constitutionalists
The Godless Constitution: The Case Against Religious Correctness, (1966) speaks about the world created by America’s original Christian forefathers was turned upside down by the Constitutionalists in the late 1700s. On page 1 of the book mentioned above, we read this:
“For the Constitution not to mention religion at all represented a REJECTION.. an extremely controversial decision not to make the United States a Christian Nation. It wasn’t contemporary liberals who upset the founder’s religious ideas about the U.S., it was the founders who upset the Puritans’ ideas.”
We have seen both dems/liberals & republicans switch roles back & forth over the decades. Both needs to come to grips that God is not nor ever was “the God” of the United States of America.
My opinion is that constitutionalism is a RELIGION… demanding devotion & obedience to it & all laws made in pursuance thereof. Very, very few in office (of U.S. gov.) ever mention the Law/laws of God of the Bibe – they point to the “Godless Constitution”!!
1787 A.D.
Remember this year? The U.S. was conceived in Philadelphia (PA) in the summer of 1787… leaving the Puritan’s God out of its constitution.
The change of law & gov. in the late 1700s brought about a change of religion: God’s Const. vs. U.S. Const. God of the Bible was DISCARDED for god of humanism, simply put. But there were and still are lots of Biblical Christians in the U.S. If you go to our site aggressivechristians.com under articles/ “Communism”, there you can read 1) “45 Comm. Goals – To Overthrow America”. Read those goals, esp. goal #27 = Infiltrate the Churches… Discredit the Bible… Goal 29 = Discredit the American Constitution… The Commies still believe the U.S. Const. is a Christian doc, therefore, discredit it. Why do they believe this? Because they have been told it by those who are deceived into believing it is a godly doc.
CULT!
Yep! America is a political CULT! America is a CULTure. CULTure is “religion externalized”. Why isn’t the Bible taught in education, in politics? Because God is not the God of America. It has godly people in it but the system is humanist.
Part 4
The Framers
T.R. Weiland (Bible Law vs. the U.S. Const.) wrote that the framers nowhere attributed the inspiration for any specific article or amendment in the Constitution to the Bible or the laws of Yahweh. He said that after reviewing over 2,200 political writings published between 1760 & 1805, Donald S. Lutz & Charles S. Hyneman came to some very interesting conclusions reguarding the Bible’s influence upon the constitutional framers & other of that period.
As stated already, some framers used the book of Deuteronomy (other Americans during the founding era as well), but the Bible’s prominence disappears during the Federalist/Anti-Federalist debate over the Constitution (see Lutz’s, “The Relative Influence of European Writers on Late 18th-cent. American Political Science Review, March 1984, pp.189-197).
When it came time to form the USA the Bible was not considered relevant!
Francis Schaeffer
Back in the 1980s, when we were forming up ACMTC into an “army” & an Ekklesia, I studied many author’s writings. I read Francis Schaeffer’s, A Christian Manifesto (1981) – he wrote 5 vols. in all). I quote: “Humanism is the placing of Man at the center of all things & making him the measure of all things.” (vol.5, p.426). He and dozens of others point out that the Preamble is arguably the most brazen HUMAN claim to sovereignty ever written. They quote from Habakkuk 1:4: “… [Yahweh’s] law is slacked [ignored, as the NASB has it], & judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceeded.”
If…
If America is a “Christian” nation, why don’t we see/hear politicians quoting Scripture? Why do we have “separation of Church & State? God’s laws are ignored, even legislated against! There is no doubt that the “framers” hearts/minds were divided (see Hos. 10:2) over this issue (see my articles on the founding of America). When I was ignorant about all this, in my PRO-AMERICA days, the Spirit of God told me that when it came time to form up the U.S. of A. that the framers compromised. I did not know exactly what He meant until I did my homework. What happened was the God of the Bible was rejected in favor of the god of the people – THE PEOPLE! Hab. 1:7 says, “They are terrible & deceitful; their judgment & their dignity proceed from themselves.” NKJV. Vs.11 says, “… ascribing this power to his god.” The NASB reads, “their justice & authority originate with themselves.” The preamble declares, “WE THE PEOPLE”, do ordain & establish this constitution.
While the U.S. Constitution is a good document, it is NOT CHRISTIAN! It is a HUMANIST doc. Madison wrote: “As the people are the only legitimate fountain of power… it is from them that the constitutional charter under which the [power of the] several branches of government … is derived.” (see The Federalist, No.46, 1888, p.217).
Enter Ole’ George
General George Washington (1st prez of the U.S.), who presided over the Constitutional Convention, confirmed this self-originating authority when he gave his farewell address: “This government, the offspring of our own choice, uninfluenced & unawed, adopted upon full investigation & mature deliberation, completely free in its principles, in the distribution of its powers, uniting security with energy, & containing within itself a provision for its own amendment, has a just claim to your confidence & support” (The Writings of G.W., 14 vols. 1892, vol.13, p.297).
James Monroe agreed: “The people, the highest authority known in our system, from whom all our institutions spring & on whom they depend, formed it” (Views of the President of the U.S. on the Subject of Internal Improvements, 1822).
If America was a “Christian” nation, Monroe would have written: “The LORD, the highest authority known in our system, from whom all our institutions spring & on whom they depend, formed it.”
John Adams agrees: “It will never be pretended that persons employed in that service [i.e., the establishment of the States’ Constitutions] had interviews with the gods, or were in any degree under the inspiration of Heaven… it will forever be acknowledged that these governments were contrived merely by the use of REASON & the SENSES (emp. mine)… 13 governments [of the original states] thus founded on the NATURAL authority of THE PEOPLE ALONE…” [The Works of J. Adams, 10 vols., 1865. vol.4, pp.292-293].
Constitutions
As in other articles I have written, here are but a few quotes from their State Constitutions. To start with consider these Scriptures: “The LORD is high above all nations. His glory above the heaven.” Ps. 113:4;
“Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your Truth; Unite my heart to fear your name.” Ps. 86:11;
“God reigns over the nations; God sits on His holy throne.” Ps. 47:8;
“For God is the King of all the earth…” Ps. 47:7;
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD…” Ps. 33:12;
“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” Ps. 29:2;
“When the righteous rejoice, there is great glory; But when the wicked arise, men hide themselves.” Prov. 28:12
Pennsylvania’s Constitution
“… all power is inherent in the people & all free governments are founded on their authority.” (1790, Article IX, Section II);
New York
“… no authority shall, on any pretense whatever, be exercised over the people or members of this state, but such as shall be derived from & granted by them (the people)” (1777, Art.1);
North Carolina
“… all political power is vested in & derived from the people only.” (1776, “Declaration of Rights”, Art.1);
Massachusetts
“All power residing originally in the people & being derived from them, the several magistrates & officers of gov. vested with authority – whether Legislative, Executive, or Judicial – are their substitutes & agents & are at all times accountable to them.” (1789, pt.1, Art.V);
Delaware
“… power is inherent in them [the people], & therefore all just authority in the institutions of political society is derived from the people.” (1792, Preamble);
Enter Horace Greely
In “A Concise History of American Antisemitism”, H.G., quoted in the above book by Robert Michael, said, “Almighty God is not the source of authority & power in our government; the PEOPLE of the United States are.” (2005, p.87). That statement, a TRUE statement, was said in repudiation of the Nat’l ASSOC. for the Amendment of the Constitution [to recognize “the rulership of Jesus Christ & the supremacy of the Divine law”).
Please Tell Me…
Tell me how men can form a “more PERFECT union” WITHOUT God? How audacious! Have we forgotton what Psalm 19:7 states?: “The law of the LORD is (present tense) PERFECT, converting the soul…” The “law” also converts the soul of a nation!
Please note: Ps. 19:7 starts with the word converting, by the law. The psalmist begins by making a statement about each of the several terms used for the “law” (6 of them). To his law (vs.7), testimony (vs.7), statutes or precepts (vs.8), commandments (vs.8), fear (vs.9), judgments or ordinance (vs.9) are little more than synonyme. What he states about them is the matter of major significance. The law… is PERFECT, i.e., without a flaw, it is sure, dependable. So, why does the Preamble state, “We the people of the U.S., in order to form a MORE PERFECT union”? If our Constitution is Christian, it needs no perfection added.
Our Liberty
Oh, Americans love their “rights” & liberties. From Childhood to the grave we have been indoctrinated to believe that our Constitution is the greatest on earth, hence, the FREEST nation on earth. Free maybe as compared to a totalitarian dictatorship. But our “freedoms” have literally made us “slaves” to all kinds of addictions, crimes, beliefs etc. Along with our “rights” is our “privileges”.
Are we concerned? Were the early Americans concerned? If one reads what Patrick Henry voiced back in 1788 at the VA. Ratifying Convention, this you will hear: “… I say our privileges & rights are in danger… the new form of Government…. will… effectually… oppress & ruin the people… In some parts of the plan before you, the great rights of freedom are endangered, in other parts, absolutely away… There will be no checks, no real balances, in this Government: what can avail your specious imaginary balances, your rope-dancing, chain-rattling, ridiculous ideal checks & contrivances? … And yet who knows the dangers that this new system may produce: they are out of the sight of the common people: They cannot foresee latent consequences… I see great jeopardy in this new Government.” (Speech of Patrick Henry, June 5 & 7, 1788, printed in the Anti-Federalist Papers & the Constitutional Convention Debates (2003, 2nd edition, pp.200-208).
Some things said came true; others did not.
Zoom up to 2008, the empty claim of the Constitution Party’s Prez Candidate, Chuck Baldwin: “Under God, it is allegiance to the Const. that has preserved our liberties, our peace & happiness, our security, & our very way of life. Furthermore, it is the repudiation & rejection of constitutional gov. that is responsible for the manner in which these very same blessings are currently being LOST.” (“Save the Planet? How About Saving the Republic?”, July 30, 2008).
Back in those days we here were saying the very same thing – why spend so much time, energy, & money on trying to save the Planet when our nation is literally going to HELL!!! And, I will add, under the previous admin. (Prez. J. Biden & commie regime), America has nearly been destroyed. The ROT is just now (under MAGA) being discovered, & it is BAD! (read Ps. 119:44,45)
While our U.S. Constitution is good, it is NOT Christian. It is humanist! Constitutionalists are notorious for attempting to make God an accomplice to their Constitution idolatry. While we do enjoy (limited) rights/privileges under the Constitution, under a true theocracy most things permitted now would be considered a sin/crime. This is why MOST do not want a theocracy. While America pledges allegiance to the “flag” (& now, “fag”, as one minister puts it), we give no allegiance to God (only in private).
We speak about “liberty” while our cities are consumed with homelessness, crime, addictions etc. It was Johann Wolfgang von Goethe who said, “None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.” What does the Bible say? “Now the Lord is the Spirit; & where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is LIBERTY.” (2 Cor. 3:17, NKJV). The Spirit of the Lord is not found in the U.S. Constitution. Why so? Because Jesus was left OUT on purpose; the fake Jesus put in – the imaginary Jesus that allows all other religions, beliefs, conducts to have free reign. This is dishonest & reprobate which allows corruption, ungodliness to flourish – all in the name of “God & country”.
It has been said, and it is so true, Americans are noted for gullibility, & their unfounded confidence in the Constitution is no exception. The first 3 articles of the Constitution enslave us to an ungodly congress, president, & judicial system – something the 17th- & early 18th-century Christians flourished without! (read 2 Peter 2:19 & Titus 1:16).
The Character, Causes…
Prof. Alexander M’Leod wrote “The Character, Causes, & Ends of the Present War” (1815), quoted in “Testimonies of Religious Defect of the Constitution.”, (1874, p.46): “The revolutionary generation had customarily adorned its formative political docs with reference to God… But when Americans, acting as ‘We the People’ in the Constitution’s preamble, invented the United States of America, they chose not to clothe their act of political creation in the language of faith… They breathed not a syllable of piety. This fact did not go unnoticed by some citizens, who complained bitterly about the ABSENCE of any reference to God in the Constitution.”
Q. How can a doc that omits God of the Holy Bible be Biblical? Q. How can a doc that ignores Christ be Christian?
John M. Mason
J.M.M. wrote the following: “That no notice whatever should be taken of that God who planteth a nation & plucketh it up at His pleasure, is an omission which no pretext whatever can palliate. Had such a momentous business been transacted by Mahometans (Muslims), they would have begun, ‘In the name of God.’ Even the savages whom we despise, setting a better example, would have paid some homage to the Great Spirit. But, from the Constitution of the United States, it is impossible to ascertain what God we worship; or whether we own a God at all….” (1849) vol.3, p.53).
Harry E. Barnes
Barnes had this to say: “When the war (for Independence) was over & the victory over our enemies won, & the blessings & happiness of liberty & peace were secure, the Constitution was framed & God was neglected. He was not merely forgotten. He was absolutely voted OUT of the Constitution. The proceedings, as published by Charles Thomson the secretary [of the Continental Congress between 1774 & 1789], & the history of the day, show that the question was gravely debated whether God should be in the Constitution or not, & after a solemn debate He was DELIBERATELY VOTED OUT OF IT…” (my emp.) (see H.E. Barns, History & Social Intelligence, 1926, pp.347-48).
During That Time
It is a fact that during that time (Constitutional Convention). Benjamin Franklin proposed “prayer imploring the assistance of heaven (as I have written in my other article), & its blessing upon our deliberations, be held in this assembly.” (B.F., 1706-90, American Statesman, scientist, inventor & writer).
Sadly, Franklin’s proposal did not merit a single vote. Wow! You would think after God had allowed America to win the war, they would be grateful. Not So! They did not want a Christian nation in reality, only in name. (see Robert Yates, “Secret Debate of the Federal Convention of 1787”, 1986, pp.`197-98).
Benjamin Franklin summed it up as thus: “The Convention, except 3 or 4 persons, thought prayers unnecessary” (see Memoirs of the Life & Writings of B.F., by Henery Colburn, 1818, 3rd ed., p.195).
What?
Excuses were made for not considering God to be sought (see the Journal of the Federal Convention, 1893, p.260). One wrote that the Convention had no funds with which to pay a professional clergyman to come & pray each morning!!! Yep! What a lame excuse!
Baseless Claims
While defending the Constitution as being “Christian”, common among Constitutionalists’ claim that the framers were filled with an attitude of dependency on God. Maybe some did but not enough to put Him as the HEAD of the U.S.A.! (see Isa. 59:1,2).
It was Known…
Benjamin Franklin was not known as orthodox in his religious beliefs. Many in that era were free-Masons, General George Washington et al. (see my article on Gen. G.W. / 1st U.S. prez being a high ranking Mason). They all used religious language but very few were orthodox. Freemasons do not meet the criteria of true Christians. (for info. on Masons see The Deadly Deception: Freemasonry Exposed by Jim Shaw & Tom Mckenney. T. Mckenney and I used to write each other back in the 1990s. He was a vet of the Vietnam War).
Separation of Church & State
In closing I will quote Constitutional attorney Leo Pfeffer on his perspective on the “Free Exercise Clause” which begins with, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” He says these words added nothing in substance to the Constitution as written 4 years earlier, nor were they intended to. He states that they made what was implicit in the original doc, namely, that Caesar was to have no traffic with God (of the Bible), as Madison phrased it, that there should be “a separation between religion & gov….” (see his writings, God, Caesar, & The Const.: The Court of Referee of Church – State Confrontation, 1975, pp.28,29).
T.R. Weiland states that this is an obvious departure from nearly every form of American gov. that preceded the “C” & is an unequivocal exodus from Biblical protocol.
On pages 57 & 58 of H.B. Clark’s, Clark’s Biblical Law (1943) he writes: “The doctrine of ‘separation of Church & state’ is a modern development. In primitive society, the patriarch was both priest & temporal ruler. And ‘in most ancient communities, the priest was also king & judge.’ Theocracy… was a gov. of priests… In the American colonies, Church & state were closely related, but the founders of the federal & most of the state governments were careful ‘to distinguish exactly the business of civil gov. from that of religion (meaning Christianity), & to settle the just bonds that lie between the one & the other.’”
Clark continues: “Formerly it was not considered improper that the three basic functions of gov. – those of making the law, enforcing the law, & interpreting the law in the settlement of controversies – should be exercised by one supreme authority… Thus, it will be seen that Moses not only made or promulgated the law, but also that he was leader or king, & that he sat as judge.”
Engel vs. Vitale
In Engel vs. Vitale (1962), The landmark case regarding prayer in public schools, Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black argued on behalf of separation of Church from state. This is what he said: “Its most immediate purpose rested on the belief that a union of gov. & religion tends to destroy gov. & degrade religion” (370 U.S. 421).
Henry C. Clausen, who wrote, Masons Who Helped Shape Our Nation, penned, “… separation of Church & state… is a Masonic goal that dates back to the Framers of the Constitution & Bill of Rights… Freemasons have defended this concept throughout American history…” (197, pp.67,71).
It is debated – all of this. The strict separation of Church & state did not exist prior to the age of enlightment. It is, however, a mainstay of Freemasonry.
I have published articles on Freemasonry in our older Battle Cry / Battle Cry Sounding pubs. Gen. G. Washington et al. was indisputably a Freemason. Political Polytheism: The Myth of Pluralism by Gary North is a good source on this issue; see pp.422-24. Albert G. Mackey’s, Revised Encyclopedia of Freemasonry (3 volumes) can be an excellent source.
Why was this debate so heated, since the government of (new) America was not Christian? Many in those days did not know this. Because the colonies were Christian, the people (naturally) believed the United States, aka United Colonies, was also “Christian”. Historians believe the separation between Church & state originated, from a personal letter. (check out, The Writings of Thomas Jefferson, (19 vols.) 1855, vol.6, pp.445-47 relates to this subject. The founder of Unitarianism Joseph Priestley explains the separation of Church from state. He was a close friend with T. Jefferson & B. Franklin; Isaac Kramnick wrote:
“The state, according to Priestley, has no authority to legislate tests of religious correctness. It deals only with ‘things that relate to this life,’ while the Church deals only with ‘those that relate to the life to come.’” (The Godless Constitution: The Case Against Religious Correctness, 1966, p.81).
This is called, The 2-Kingdom Fallacy. We know that only a few Framers were actually real Biblical Christians – others were a mixed bag of sorts. Some professed the Christian religion but was not a committed Christan. We know Thomas Jefferson hated much of the Bible!
Martin Luther/John Calvin
Both of these reformers believed in 2-governments – the spiritual & the secular. I agree: God allows the secular while He has created the spiritual. The problem the world faces is that the secular wants to control the spiritual. (see, On Secular Authority: how far does the Obedience owed to it extend? (concerning M. Luther’s take, 1991, 1993, pp.10,11,12. I have an article posted dealing with this vital issue – who do we obey, man or God?);
Concerning J. Calvin, Calvin On Civil Gov. (Book IV, chapter 20) needs to be read (1991, 1993, pp.47-49).
O.T./N.T.
Francis Schaeffer writes:
“In the O.T. there was a theocracy commanded by God. In the N.T…. the Church was its own entity. There is no N.T. basis for a linking of Church & State until Christ the King returns.” (A Christian Manifesto, 1981, p.121).
Not every Christian believes this, Prof. G. North says F.S.’s position inevitable leads to the do-nothingism (i.e., passive waiting vs. active service). (North, p.611, Political Polytheism).
We can’t forget that everything in this life is a moral issue because God created it from the beginning. Everything IS under His sovereign control & oversight. EVERYTHING! Therefore, no such thing as separation of Church & state.
Prof. E.M. Goffney, Jr., who wrote, Of Covenants Ancient & New: The Influence of Secular Law on Biblical Religion, says “… I assume that the Bible is not a detailed historical blueprint for American society, & that it does not contain much concrete guidance for the resolution of specific political conflicts or Constitutional difficulties such as slavery & racism, sexism & equal opportunity to participate in society. The Biblical traditions are not to be viewed as an arsenal of proof texts for contemporary disputes” (1984, vol.2, pp.117-118).
What Does?
We may ask this question: If the Bible & God’s law does not hold the blueprint for modern society, what does? If Christians as citizens are not required (by God) to bring their Bible-based views/beliefs to bear on politics, & to pass legislation that conforms to His revealed case laws, then anti-Christians inherit ALL civil/secular governments by default.
Edmund Burke, articulate Brit statesman stated, “… in a Christian commonwealth the Church & state are one & the same thing, being different integral parts of the same whole.” (The Words of the Right Honorable Edmund Burke, 12 vols. 1887, vol.7, p.43).
Ekklesia?
I’ve written many articles on this. When the Spirit told us to form up a N.T. Ekklesia, I had to dig into alot of stuff – what? How? Why? Where? When? There is a difference between going to Church (a building) than BEING an Ekklesia, i.e., a living community where all things are held common (see Acts 2:44-47; 4:32 to start with). The Greek word “ekklesia” means a called-out body politic. Both the secular & the religious are supposed to be ruled by God’s Word. Why would humans end up in Hell if morals/laws are not meant to be kept? (read Ps. 78:1-8).
IF!!!
If the framers of the U.S. Constitution had heeded what Ps. 78:1-8 states, America would not be where she finds herself today – in one HELL of a MESS! And, when Christians finally accept their dominion role/mandate, they will conclude that the separation of Church from state is foreign to the Bible. God wants to rule humanity for the wellbeing of their souls.
Our beloved John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world (lost humankind) that He gave His… Son, that whoever believes in Him should not PERISH but have everlasting life.”;
Peter wrote: “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise… not willing that any should PERISH but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Pet. 3:9). This is N.T.
But this truth was written about centuries ago when Ezekiel wrote: “Do I (God, have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he (humankind) should turn from his ways & live?.” (vs.23 of Ez. 18; read vss.19-31). Verse 32 God speaks: “For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore turn & live!”
The LORD/Lord wants all humanity to find salvation. He does not wish for any to PERISH!!!
[note: There are 5 N.T. Gk. words for “perish”: Apollumi, Sunapollumi, Apothnēskō, Aphanizō & Diaphthairō; 2 Peter 3:9 uses the Gk. word Apollumi = “to destroy” (which is the same Gk. word).
If God did not intend for ALL humankind to keep His Law/laws, why does the Bible say “… God is the King of all the earth” (Ps. 47:7) & that “God reigns over the nations…” (vs.8)? Why does the Word tell us that “The wicked shall be turned into Hell, & all the nations that forget God” (Ps. 9:17)? One translation reads: “The wicked shall depart to Sheol.” God holds ALL men (humanity) & ALL nations accountable!
America, America… Headed to HELL!!!
The original Hebrew of Ps. 9:17 “… headed headlong into Hell, down into Hell.” If nations, including America, will not live in fear of the Living God, nor acknowledge His moral ways, HELL is waiting for them.
The Heb. – Gk. Key Study Bible reads: “The wicked return to the grave, all the nations that forget God.” The Hebrew word for “grave” is s’ālaq, from nās’aq = “to be kindled, to kindle a fire, burn”. Strong’s #5400 = nâsaq, a prim. root = “to catch fire: – burn, kindle”. So, “grave” & “hell” mean the same. Some trans. have “Sheol” = hades or the world of the dead (Strong’s #7585). It can also mean “pit”. Hell, hades, Sheol, pit, lake of fire, the place (state) of departed souls. “Gehenna” = “lake of fire” (see all my articles on this subject, plus God’s Wrath).
The afterlife = everlasting/eternal/neverending. The redeemed will spend eternity with God; the unredeemed will spend eternity in HELL/GEHENNA with Satan!
So, don’t you think its worth it to keep God’s moral law/laws?
Do you think America is a Christian nation?
What effect did the 1st. Amendments Establishment Clause have on America’s religious future?
This clause itself is constitutional law reguarding religion. Because Congress FAILED to recognize monotheistic Christianity as the nation’s representative religion, it guaranteed polytheism – many religions as we see today.
John 14:6
WAY – TRUTH – LIFE. Christ is the personification of TRUTH & the ONLY means to the Father. All other religions are necessarily incompatible & at enmity with Biblical Christianity. “Woke Churchianity” does not believe this. What does 2 Cor. 6:14-16 tell us? What Amerika is today is a mixed bag of snakes, flakes, & fakes. America is more communist than Christian. We can also say that there is parallel between ancient Rome & modern America. – Rome tolerated any & all gods subservient to the Roman civil gov. as represented by Ceasar. America tolerates any and all gods subservient to the Constitutional Republic as represented by “We the people”!
Q. Do you think America will finally come to grips with her horrid anti-Christ, anti-Christian condition?

WOS – BORN TO BE GLAD!
I speak unto you this day and I say be thankful that you have been Born to be Glad and are not as those who are born to be bad or born to be sad. Rather as you are choosing to continue in the Way you received when you were born again of incorruptible seed so will you be glad over and over.
In these times when there is so much civil unrest, dissenting multitudes who have been given a free ride and want more, when no monies are available, so are they doing deeds of violence and even murder. Literally what such ones are planning in their strategies is to bring about civil war in the nation and cause it to become two nations instead of one.
Of course political unrest and such upheavals as are being shown forth are causing many people to be sad and totally living in fear over what shall come upon them tomorrow. However those who have been Born to be Glad will be rejoicing each day because they know that I am their Keeper and will be with them always, even until the end of the world.
It does no good to be constantly worrying and anxious over the affairs of the world because you are not of this world. You are of My Kingdom and I am the One who will uplift you, guide you, and bring you forth in the infinite mercies of who I am. While I tell you the plots and schemes of the wicked, remember this, I AM THE ALMIGHTY AND I HAVE STRATEGIES THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. Therefore be glad each day that you are My people and I as Your Heavenly Father will keep you covered as you remain true and faithful to Me. In fact you are not meant to be fearful you are meant to be fearless of what men can do to you. This is because when My people trust Me they will be able to declare to generations to come the mercies and miracles I do.
Do not let the troubles which are happening affect you in the sense that you become tense and ever anxious because of the uncertainty. Remember to keep your vision, your hope, your heart with Me for I will show you the Way which is the Better Way and as you walk in the same so will you be confident in My Keeping Power over you.
I always have made the Way for My people who trusted in Me when there was no Way and I do the same in these times. While men in their pride believe themselves to be technically far advanced and do not need Me, they fail to realize all of their technical know how could be demolished. Men do not rule the universe even if they think they do.
Inasmuch as I am the Creator and they are the created, I can reduce them and bring them back to reality when ever and how ever I choose. When as in these times people are proud of being born to be bad, little do they understand in reality they are nothing if I choose to level them. In reality such ones as these who are thinking themselves to be invincible are just dupes being used by the devil and his demons to do their dirty work. Before the end of their lives, some of these bragging bad ones will be brought low, become crippled, blind, depressed, suicidal, worn out from sin, shot and wounded and unable to even remain functioning. Then they will see how “bad they are” when they have nothing physically, emotionally, or mentally left in them.
When they face their realities, they will be forced to see they have wasted their lives as instruments of destruction and devastation bringing misery to many now they will be utterly miserable. What will they have? Nothing except the misery and the impending destiny of Hell. There are a few when they reach this point who will cry out and repent and come into the Salvation mercies given by Jesus. The majority will be too proud they will remain in their misery and go to Hell in the same. Once in Hell they will find the agonies of the damned and continual misery are the existence they will remain in forever.
So, were they clever in all of their criminality or did they simply build up their own punishments for being “bad”? Of course this too will be a torment to them because they will see what utter fools they were and should have never made the choices they did. There will be no one to brag to about how bad they were for no one cares because all are under torment and can never escape.
This day and every day refuse to be governed by the circumstances and situations you are in and look to Me as the One has given to you the privilege to have been born to be glad. Rejoice each day and keep your attitude of gratitude for the day you are living in without worrying about tomorrow. Whatever you need, I know already and I provide and you do not need to hide because you have sinned against Me as so many do. No if you keep your life an open book before My Spirit and allow and accept correction you will see how beautiful and blessed your life is. Yes, you will know each day what it is to be glad, and enabled to rejoice and give Me thanks and praise. You will not be as the sad who cannot find joy in anything only grow sadder and madder by the day. Nor will you be as the fools who are so proud of being born to be bad without foresight to see their bitter end. Therefore with these things in mind, be glad to be Mine.
