HELL!
THE DOCTRINE OF HELL is one of the most neglected Bible doctrines of our day. “TO HELL with Hell!” has become an all-too-common slogan. I, for one, believe in Hell and will continue to teach and preach on THE TERRORS OF HELL.
Matthew 13:47-50
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, BUT CAST THE BAD AWAY. SO SHALL IT BE AT THE END OF THE WORLD: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, AND SHALL CAST THEM INTO THE FURNACE OF FIRE: THERE SHALL BE WAILING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.”
HELL — Burning with brimstone and stinking pitch, a place of GROSS DARKNESS and full of DAMNED INHABITANTS who can NEVER ESCAPE! No, NEVER!!
The damned are in the abyss of Hell now; all the damned will end their sinful state in the penitentiary of HELLFIRE.
The Bible speaks of Hellish torments and anguish that will affect all the senses and members: because, as sinful men have employed all their senses and bodily members in SINNING against God, their Creator, so shall they suffer ETERNALLY and EVERLASTINGLY in each of these with the punishment due for sin. The eyes, for lascivious looks, shall everlastingly endure the horrible sight of devils and devils in human bodies. The ears, for having taken delight in evil and sinful discourse, shall hear nothing but wailings and gnashing of teeth, desperate howlings, FOREVER.
The most PAINFUL sense of all, no doubt, will be the privation and loss of God’s free salvation, His glory—even the sight of which the damned are excluded from FOREVER and EVER!
How horrible to be excluded from the glories of Heaven; excluded from the peaceful presence of the Almighty God; the crucified, resurrected, ascended, and glorified Christ and the power of the Holy Ghost!
ALAS!
From this Hellish eternity one will experience NEVER-ENDING DESPAIR, PAIN, INFINITE RAGE and BLASPHEMIES.
“Oh, my soul—art thou able to dwell with this DEVOURING FIRE? Canst thou incline to dwell with EVERLASTING BURNING? Canst thou think of parting with thy God FOREVER?”
Think about this, religious sinner, unsaved REBEL, mocker, scoffer: HELL awaits you if you do not REPENT and walk with the LORD.
“Confess that you have often deserved it. Don’t let the day expire and the night of eternity lay hold upon you—why will you go down in Hell wherein dwells everything UGLY, HATEFUL, AWFUL?” Think about the loss of happiness, beauty, CLEAR LIGHT,…..the glorious company of redeemed souls,…..unspeakable CONTENTMENT…..WHY WANDER SO GREAT A DISTANCE FROM SOVEREIGN BLISS?
——Where brimstone you smell….REBEL AGAINST HELL!——
