The Spirit is calling… calling forth His Prayer Warriors. The Spirit is calling, “come & pray, hear & obey”. God wants His people to be under His Global Spirit Proclamation whereby they are able to HEAR, OBEY, & PRAY right when called.
The world is in a terrible place in these times. While some work tirelessly to bring peace, others do the same to make the world a continual “War Zone”. The world is looking for “peace makers”. As Isaiah wrote: “The wilderness & the solitary place shall be glad for them...” (Isa. 35:1). Be glad for whom?
After the inferno [chapter 34] follows Paradiso. Chapter 34 speaks of indignation of the LORD… destroy… slain… cast out… their blood… curse… Sword of the LORD… great slaughter… soaked with blood… LORD’s vengeance… brimstone… line of confusion… stones of emptiness… thorns… nettles… brambles… wild beasts… vultures…
Chapter 35 speaks of God raising up a people… a Spirit people that will cause the wilderness & the solitary places to bloom & rejoice… singing & rejoicing… the Glory of the LORD shall be seen… the weak hands shall be strengthened… the feeble knees be confirmed… the fearful heart become strong… This time the LORD will come in & through a willing “Spirit” people… with vengeance & with recompense… to save & not to destroy! The eyes of the blind shall see, the ears of the deaf shall hear, the lame shall leap, the tongue of the dumb shall sing, waters in the wilderness shall break out & streams in the desert.
Of course, the Spirit is speaking of the human heart… the heart that has been dry, hurting, empty, fearful, thirsty. Can we not say can we not agree that the world at this time is what Isaiah is describing? … parched ground, thirsty for the WATERS of God? Can we not see that the world has become the habitation of dragons, i.e. devils?
When the “them” (vs.1) shall arise, all will change… a “highway” shall be created; the “Low way” shall disappear. How long have men walked under the shadow of DEATH? … walked in sin… walked in the way of Satan?
When “them” shall arise, the WAY of righteousness shall appear. When God’s “Purposed Forces” are raised up, they will beat down the “Forces of Hell”.
What I write about is not what we have on Church stages swinging their arms & shaking their butts to loud Rock music. Enough already. Cancel the Big religious shows. We need a people that are right in God’s sight, not Church entertainers.
God is SICK of all this malodorous folly, Church chicanery, this bawdy BS passed off as “spiritual”. Enough of this decelerating, celebrating one’s sexuality, their pronouns. Enough of this “spiritual new revelations” whereby sin is in & holy living is out! Pass the PUKE bucket!!! Enough convolution twisting God’s Word to fit men’s sin. Holiness is achieved at a high cost – pyrrhic. Flush the religious toilet please! Quickly!
Isaiah spoke about “a highway” (vs.8): “And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The Way of Holiness.”
And, as the Prophet went on to say, “the unclean shall not pass over it.” The perverse (perverts & perverters of God’s Word), the depraved (e.g. LGBTQ+ et al.) will not lead astray him/her who walks upon the Highway.
No doubt Isaiah was seeing into the future, his and ours.
While the Christian life is one of trials & temptations, the BIG picture is that there are times & seasons. We ARE NOW in one of those T.S. whereby the Spirit is calling forth a “Spirit People” out of a people (Churchianity). He is raising up a “Purposed Force”, a people that will HEAR what the Spirit is saying. Enough of these “spiritual midgets”, small minded) that believe themselves to be spiritual giants. You know the kind. These folks who walk in their own way, and not in the WAY of the Spirit.
The very atmosphere in the world today is hostile towards the Highway.
The WAY is open for any and all who will heed God’s call. As Isaiah wrote: “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee saying, ‘This is the WAY, walk ye in it’ …” Isa. 30:24
TO HEAR requires at least a hearing ear & a responsive spirit (heart). Given that, however, life is short through with light for our pilgrimage. As Psalm says, “Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel,” Ps. 73:24.
So…
Isaiah tells us that NO UNCLEAN person shall walk on God’s Highway (35:8). He says NO FOOLS shall err therein… ONLY the redeemed shall walk on God’s Highway. Very different from “come as you are, stay as you are” mentality in today’s WOKE/PC Church of today… “bring your sins, enjoy the Lord.” “Have fun in the Son”.
Verse 9 tells us that “no lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon.” Only the redeemed & the clean shall walk upon God’s Highway. Enough of this play-acting stuff we find in too many churches today.
Time!
It is time to Join God’s Global Spirit Army. If you’ve been under the headship/leadership of the “lion of Hell” (Satan, 1 Pet. 5:8), it is time to REBEL against HELL! … join God’s “Purposed Forces”; be a soldier under the “Lion of Judah” (Rev. 5:5). It is time to STOP the WAR on God’s Holy WAR. The call to fight the good fight of faith is sounding around the world. It is time to tear down the strongholds of the wicked, to set the captives FREE. It is not the time to FLEE!
The world will be glad for THEM (Isa. 35:1)… the faithful, the fearless, the ones who are part of God’s “Purposed Forces”.
